Has anybody ever bought their keitai from the seller in this thread?
I'm thinking of buying a keitai but when I read the thread I became quite suspicious of the seller...

1) lots of posts in the thread made by accounts which are fairly new, 0 posts and no avatar (dupe accounts?)
2) all of the supposedly good feedbacks are typed in the same format: larger fonts and in red
3) got a few people in the thread cautioning people not to trust this seller too...

Thoughts?

Never dealt with that seller before, so I can't say much.

I've dealt with skyng86 before though. Nice guy, so if you can, get your keitai from him instead.

Can anybody figure out if the new J-Androids will be easy to use outside of Japan?

too bad the chances of this phone getting here are very very slim .

Some have ways to get J-phones through traditional channels in Japan but also many J-phones gotten through non-traditional means. Despite Android being pretty common, these handsets still have something unique and attractive to offer.

What I am wondering is whether these have a USIM slot, need HyperSIM, can be jailbroken, can switch to English Android, loaded with proprietary interface, etc.

if most of the phones have gsm(or use the same 3g band as the world ) then they should have a sim slot . as for the english option , most of them as far as i know do have a option for that ,

yes..........finally sh10c is in.......only cons is cannot surf net

At least the Wifi works, right?

i would love to get my hands on japanese clamshell phones. but heres the deal:

i) not pink!!
ii) not too advanced (i just need call, a little camera work, and heavy sms)
iii) perfect rectangular shape (shaped like p-03-b would be nice)
iv) priced below rm500 if possible. willing to go 1k but the cheaper the better.

can anyone help me find any j-phones model with these specs?
oh and im using celcom prepaid, so hopefully the line is stable.

Nice! Not exactly true to call it the 1st hypersim-less Docomo, but yes it's the first batch of officially unlocked Docomo's.

I have a couple of question though.
1) Does Softbank phones can be purchased unlocked? Or like above said, the SH series is available in both locked and unlocked version?
2) I believe this phone will be part of the Summer line up. May I know when its going to start selling? How about the expected price?
3) Does this phone have the regular limitation of Japanese Keitai? I believe if its there, it can be circumvented due to it is running Android right?
4) Where can I sell my kidney to buy this?

Be sure to try using the the keyboard for English SMS. For many models it is a real @ss pain! Also many "every sentence" Chinese characters not supported.
