You need to connect your TV audio out to the AVR. Basically get your TV to send the audio signal out to the AVR.

Obsolete model but serves the purpose

One caveat is that "activity" feature doesn't work too well with Hypp TV since it prompts for confirmation when turning off (not that it matters since Hypp TV is basically crap)

You can program it to send the power key twice to turn off the Hypp TV setop box, however, you need to use harmony remote software 7.7 to do the programming, the web version doesn't allow to do detail programming.

upgraded customer HT from denon AVR to Marantz AVR & external power amp, Magnet HDA-3120S 3ch 120RMS X 3@8ohm (tri-mono class AB design with 3 dedicated PSU tranny)...now the frontstage is wider and bigger with more 'oomph' to it. frontstage & centre speakers upgraded to Van den hul Snowline cable

they have been around for almost 30 years doing OEM business for other brands. their factory is in thailand and its a thailand brand. only recently last 1.5years they started to manufacture their own in-house brands.
i found them at KLIAV show where there were doing demo for their magnet, juz beside my room. at the last day of AV show i did a AB comparison with their amp. the rest of the gears were the same. surprisingly the difference in sound was not very substantial. no doubt the moon W7 was good but the magnet was not far behind. the good thing is the magnet amp was 3.5 times more affordable

AB comparison was done using:
nagra CDP
nagra PL-L preamp
Moon W7 250watt dual mono amp(swap with magnet hyperion reference 250watt dual mono)

officially we are the distributor in malaysia

hi guys

I would like to get some advise here. My dad previously has a set of amps + 5 speakers, a really old sets. Unfortunately his amps is broken, and we are not sure bout the speakers.

He told me that the speakers is still functioning asked me to see whether the amps is repairable...I was thinking of getting a brand new amps but do not know where to start off...do u all mind providing some guidance to me here?

the only thing i know is that the speakers are connected to the amps via the old skool clips (i.e. speaker wire are clipped into the amp). I seen some pics in lazada on some yamaha unit and noticed that those amps do not has such clips anymore....
