Nice. The new speakers must be a big step up in performance.

Yep. But not yet calibrate. Ran Audyssey but think it is not accurate. It had the center at -10dB. Need more time to adjust.

Any idea why you pit the speakers on the left side of the room leaving a few feet of space on the right? Also why is the center speaker on the floor?![]() (will have some tiny upgrade on thursday as another pair of floor standing is on its way) Cheers |

I was stunned when I found out those models are so old because they are so new when I bought it! Centre is Mordaunt short 905. I have to keep them to the left as I need to keep some space for some path, access to dining table ( behind the camera view) . |

No worries bro! nothing to feel sorry on tight budget ! You are absolutely fine to ask a question here.p.s occupation student and part timer. From my point of view, you should be able to get an amp at around that price, maybe a little bit more on top, but bear in mind, that is just to buy an amp, you will need some budget to buy speakers, cables etc.. It depends on how you want your set up really. If you can specify some details in terms of what sort of system would you like to have (stereo, 5.1 / 7.1 etc) , maybe some sifu would be able to give you some suggestions . Cheers pal. |

I'll use my previous speakers from JVC. hmm, i think i should go for 5.1 surround sound. it's cheaper right? thanks again. =) |

QUOTE(Bishop @ Apr 7 2011, 09:37 PM) Nope. Old tweeters still with me. Odd is that they sent it from their HQ and not from Asiasound. Maybe Asia Sound doesn't stock parts, so easier if they just send direct from HQ.Saw the bill. Tweeters $40 x 2. Shipping $50. All FOC. Good that all was FOC. That should be the way during warranty coverage. I guess you have to DIY to replace the tweeter? |
