If the second computer is not authorized, and you were to tick sync apps; IT WILL remove all your apps.

There is a way to sync your iPhone with 2 computers but I don't see the reason why you need to do that. It's just wasting space to have Gigabytes of data on 2 different computers.

Help needed here. Powered on the iphone, stuck at usb cable pointing to itunes logo. Plugged it in pc,launch itunes, only option available is restore.

Now few question

1) If i restore will i loose the photo? apps,songs,and movie i dont mind, photo is the one more important

2) I restore does wipe out everything, any other way to have xcess to the photos?

3) If no software related method can have access to the photos, anyone can do it physically? meaning opening up the fon have access to the hard disk or something.

Hi, i got a question about itune and the ios that i wanna ask.

REcently i try to upgrade my ios to 4.2 since my current one is 3.1.3.

when i click update on itunes, they always come out with "Iphone software update server could not be contacted. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later."

may i know what happened and why i cannot upgrade?

I'm using the old Iphone 3G.

Me and my wife both having an iphone4 sync-ed to one iTunes account within one computer (PC running window OS). The thing is, once I sync our phone, our contacts is mixed, how am I going to manage or separate the contact since we both having different contents?

In the Mac, the Contacts and iCal apps cna create 2 different database (i.e. My Contacts, Wife's Contacts) and you can then sync the iPhone to ONLY sync to the specified contact databse.

Not sure about Windows though.

it will be replaced with this "new" library

im abit faded over here. my problem, my pc was upgraded recently. thus, during upgrade, the itunes which i installed was removed unintentionally. now in my new machine, if i were to install itunes again, is there by any chance i can retrieve the back-up or copy datas from my ip to the newly installed pc?

As long as your backup wasnt deleted then you can copy and paste it into the new computer.

or you can just re-download it again, if u don't want just search your computer for extension of ipa, those are your apps

cant remember which folder but it is in your itunes folder

if you sync back the iphone to your new pc, you will get the app back in itunes

anything that you bought can be redownload free, just check your appstore app, in the updates section you can view your purchases (4.3.3 firmware)

for your backup, it depends on whether you backup folder was also deleted. read this here iPhone Backup Location and if it's still there, you might only need to reinstall iTunes. For your apps - just do transfer purchases. THEN ONLY, you may sync your iphone.

is it a fresh install or an upgrade? you're toast if it's the former.
