QUOTE(kayzie @ May 25 2009, 08:27 PM) Is it possible to sync music from different iTunes of different computers? If I sync with iTunes A then songs B will be replaced, and vice versa... Is there a way to do this? not with iTunes, as it is a measure to combat piracy. if you require such features, may i suggest that you use those USB thumbdrive cum mp3 players instead?

Thanks for the info. Well I prolly go with syncing to one of the iTunes only then. Just copy all the songs to one computer will do.

Apple Releases iTunes 8.2. Avoid It. (For Now...) Apple has released iTunes 8.2 for download; however, the iPhone Dev-Team recommends not installing it at this time. iTunes 8.2 now supports iPhone or iPod touch with the iPhone 3.0 Software Update. iTunes 8.2 also includes many accessibility improvements and bug fixes. For information on the security content of this update, please visit this website: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1222MuscleNerd, an iPhone Dev-Team member writes, "Today’s iTunes 8.2 update changes the way your computer talks to the device. This affects things like QuickPwn and PwnageTool when they try to identify what’s connected. Also, ssh over usb breaks due to same reasons. Fixes are in the works but for now avoid 8.2. (These are probably *not* anti-jailbreak maneuvers, just Apple changing protocols that normally only Apple cares about.)" Source: [URL=http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=4058]

good day to all,
I have a problem...My desktop had some problem 2 days ago and in my haste to settle the problem i reformated my desktop b4 doing a back up of my itunes! totally didn't cross my mind at that time....
well, in terms of contacts and apps i read from here i can still merge contacts and copy mobile applications back into itunes after reformating and all these will still remain in my iphone after i sync and i won't lose them due to the blank new itunes... (my desktop problem was not solved after reformating and somehow i still can get to the itunes library folder and i copied all the mobile applications files out)
however i think there's a new problem, i'm using iphone 2G, JB d. So i guess it's not recommended for me to use itunes 8.2? Did anyone here keep the installer for any older version of itunes? previously i was using itunes 8 or 8.1 i think... i've never upgraded b4 coz i didn't think it was neccesary when all the while there was no problem in using itunes...i'm still searching online but most of the links all point back to apple's itunes site where i can only get the itunes 8.2 download...
thanks!

Elo guys,
I've some issues with my iTunes which arose due to my stupidity xD I dunno whether this prob has been discussed before or not and I'm lazy to google around. When iTunes 8.2 was released that day, I updated to the latest version from iTunes 8.1.1 and when I read that the iTunes 8.2 will crash the JB iPhone, so I deleted the iTunes 8.2( by dragging the app to into the trash ) and then I reinstall the iTunes 8.1.1. Later I found out that I misunderstood the iTunes 8.2 will not crash the JB iPod touch as it will only affect pwnagetool and thus I decided to update back to iTunes 8.2 but when I did so, I found out that I was unable to import back the previous iTunes library and all my previous created playlists.... Any solution to my query? xD Thanks in advance for reading and helping me out...
