Now that the official iPhone is released, is there a way for us to purchase iTunes Gift Card locally? I'm still attached to US App Store and would like to remain that way but so far, the only way for me to fund it is via iTunes Gift Card. Anyone got a work around for it?

the american iTunes store (as the name suggests) is dedicated for the consumption of the american market.

i fail to see how the fact that iPhones are launched in malaysia has to do with the local market selling american iTunes gift cards?

I'm sharing a little info here. I've updated my iTunes to 8.1.1 yesterday. For some reason iTunes couldn't detect my iphone.

I figured out my pen drive was plugged in, so I removed it and replug in iphone cable too. It works after that.

Might or might not be the iTunes version prob but I'm sharing it here so if someone's iphone can't be detected, at least you know this is 1 of the reason.

depends on your built in usb hub to be honest.


my dell xps desktop has 8 usb ports and i utilised all of them. when i first got it, there were a lot of usb device "compatibilities" and i had to play "trial and error" games with it by randomising the ports.


for example, plugging out the printer from the first port, and then webcam et cetera.

yo, just wondering, can i actually use a same account on two different devices? just wondering if i can bought in all the games i had from my account to my sister's itouch too.... in other words, can i do login on her computer using my itunes account then download all the purchased apps n sync it on her device? thanks

Have a small problem ... have a 3g iphone (FW 2.2.1) using the lastest itune i dl from apple website, cant organize my videos in to my iphone whereas music i can copy and sync nicely ... what could be my problem ? any help would be thankful ...

lets say itunes is to release a new song on 18/5 which is tomorrow..so does it mean the song is available in itunes on Tuesday coz Malaysia is 1 day ahead of US? or will it be available on the actual day for us from different time zone other than US?

Is it possible to transfer Apps from Notebook A to Notebook B? I just bought a new notebook but all my Apps in old ones

1stly, make sure u hhv the video file with the right format n all tat..use a good converter 2 get tat..try dvdsoft...
then, at itunes, add file or folder n select the video u want...
next up, make in itunes on the video tab, u hv Sync movie checked..
at tis stage u shud be doing ok with the whole ting...

if im not mistaken, malaysia itunes does not hv movies, songs, etc...
only for apps...
and if its releasing on 18 in usa, check on 19...

thr is a way..but not very certain abt how to go abt doing it...
log in to ur new notebook's itunes...
purchase a free app or just download an app u alredi own..
then u'll hv the app tab on the left pane...

copy the files from ur old notebook into a hdd...it shud be in my music, itunes library..mobile apps...
then drag n drop 2 the app pane in the new notebook's itunes pane...
they'll install the app for sync-ing...
shud do the trick,,,
