hey bro.i followed your steps, and yeah,it can online.but what baffles me is that when in the test connection in the ps3,everything suceeded except the connection speeds that are not counted by my ps3?there is a message saying that "the router in use may not support IP fragments, and the communication features of some games may be restricted."i can sign in,and go into playstation store, but thats it.i can't surf the web,i can't enter playstation home, and can't even play online.im really confused about this, please help...i followed all of the steps correctly ady...

if the IP address and internet connection is successful, everything should be ok. if playstation network fail then it's the PS server problem. and for the connection speed, i too always get problem reading it, i usually just ignore it.

what nat type do u have?

win 7

click on control panel > network and internet > network and sharing center

once u in there, clikc on celcome/digi/maxis broadband on the middle- right side of the menu. then click on propreties, click on the sharing tab on the top of menu, check on "allow other network....." then choose "local area connection" in the drop out box.

then also check the "allow other network users...." box then

click settings, then check all the box in that menu, then ur done.

for the ps3 part please refer to front post.

i will add a better guide to front post by end of this week. sorry for all the delays guy.

You can do wired too.
You can also do port forwarding if you're getting NAT3.
I have this router for a year when my PS3 is still connected through celcom bb D98 package.
But sad to say most of the time I play online I always encounter lag. sad.gif

High PING + low upload speed = lag always..
*
im using this router but get nat 3 , can u share how your router setup .
a little bit details on my setting -
1. using celcom bb 98 plan , signal usually 3 bar hspda
2. router using latest firmware , DMZ and port forward done
3. ps3 setting manual , ip static ,dns etc same with router
4. tried changing dns 4221 and 4222 , still nat 3 ..

I've been reading through this entire thread and noticed that some are having problem with NAT type 3 connection.

I recently bought a TP Link 3G router to connect my 3G USB Modem (CSL model provided by Celcom) for my PS3.

I've been trying DMZ to Port Forwarding methods (searched all over the net) to get Type 2 but lucked out.

Does this mean its ISP related? Would cross cable connection method to a Windows PC help?
*
A while back, I posted I couldn't get a NAT type 2 connection even with all the settings changed. Apparently the culprit is just the service provider.

Canceled Celcom and went ahead with Maxis and now its Type 2.

I'm using Huawei E960. Package is the 6GB one.

No idea about the wifi modem you mentioned. Initially I was suggested to buy this, but went ahead with E960 since I prefer LAN connection.

hi, can anyone help me out here....im feel like killing somebody atm.

problem is, im using unifi. speed wise, no complains, but for ps3, it ALWAYS dc after 30-45 mins for wireless, if u connect it using LAN cable, can last maybe max 1 hour before I sign out from PSN.

called unifi helpline, they were as helpful as getting cancer. useless. anyone else experiencing this problem? as far as i know, EVERYONE of my friends using unifi has this problem. is there any get around or fix for this?
