I've been reading through this entire thread and noticed that some are having problem with NAT type 3 connection.
I recently bought a TP Link 3G router to connect my 3G USB Modem (CSL model provided by Celcom) for my PS3.
I've been trying DMZ to Port Forwarding methods (searched all over the net) to get Type 2 but lucked out.
Does this mean its ISP related? Would cross cable connection method to a Windows PC help?

A while back, I posted I couldn't get a NAT type 2 connection even with all the settings changed. Apparently the culprit is just the service provider. Canceled Celcom and went ahead with Maxis and now its Type 2. This post has been edited by Hyperion: Dec 17 2010, 11:22 PM

QUOTE(moon* @ Dec 20 2010, 02:51 PM) hey hyperion, u went for the maxis broadband? which modem did u use??? n which package??? anyone got any idea is the below wifi modem can connect with ps3?? I'm using Huawei E960. Package is the 6GB one. No idea about the wifi modem you mentioned. Initially I was suggested to buy this, but went ahead with E960 since I prefer LAN connection.
