well, it is cheap, but how do we take flight from SIN-KUL-NRT? are we allowed to take the plane @ KUL instead? if yes, i guess i should be planning another trip soon next year!
there are hotel cheaper...with ensuite bathroom for two, i.e
koiwa sky court hotel - but a little out of town.
oak hotel : JPY7500 - from instantworldbooking
but i've yet to found any hotel (not ryokan/b&b/dormitories) with JPY6000 for two pax.
you need to take the flight from sin, means you may need to purchase a KL-SIN-KL flight ticket or bus. But with the budget air, you can get kl-sin well below rm100 net. With add in of this cost, the total cost still much cheaper than direct fly from KL. You may get rm1580 from japan air, but for airline ranking, i think MAS should be better ( just my personal opinion)

Actually, I've yet to come across this... do you have any suggestions which site has such offers?
I know that it might be possible if you're taking a package but I don't think I've actually seen just room package with a good deal like you just mentioned.
If you have a specific site to suggest; we can all benefit from it.

for hotel staying, may try this few sites.
1)
http://www.superhotel.co.jp/en/index.html- range from 6000 to 9000 yen depend you want a Big bed for 2, or 2 single bed for 2 persons. A big bed for 2 will be cheaper. Breakfast provided. Means you save 1000 yen per day for both
2)
http://www.toyoko-inn.com/eng/index.html- about the same as the above
3) www.jalan.net
- you can get 3 star hotel around 7000 to 9000 yen per room ( a double bed for 2), if you can read chinese, the japanese web is easy to surf.
3)
http://www.ikyu.com/- this site is for 4 star and above. Sometimes there got a bargain deal such like intercontinental, hotel nikko, le meridien etc, weill around 10000 to 12000 yen. This rate for tokyo top hotel is really really bargain.
all the above web need to register a member before you may any booking, create a log in name and password. For 1/2, you may email then if you are not a member and do not wish to be. For 3/4, you just need to simply fill up a japanese name, and copy and paste any address in japanese. When check in, you just need to show the confirmation email, whether the name match with your passport or not, that not the issue.
But in mind, for japan hotel booking, you need not to place any deposit or payment upfront. And you can cancel it 3 days before the intend staying date without any charges.
You may ask, how they charges us since they do not have any of our payment detail such like credit card. .The answer is they base on trust, as simple as that. SO, please..........cancel it if you have change your plan. If more and more foreigner take advantage of it, it may stop foreigner for such booking in advance. Please.........cancel it.
