it's similar for mountain lion or windows 8

i suggest u try it out for yourself first; it's very straightforward. look for videos on youtube if you want.

Your original Windows 7 Bootcamp drivers should have the necessary drivers for Windows 8 ... all you need to do is re-install your bootcamp drivers using compatibility mode (compatible with Windows 7).

are you using Lion / Mountain Lion? before installing windows, didn't Boot Camp Assistant prompt you to download the drivers first?

im not using those OS, but try launching boot camp assistant and look for a way to download the drivers. if im not mistaken it'll be in .exe format. u just need to launch this EXE from within windows 8.

the file size of the driver depends on the mac u're using.

if you keep getting errors, try downloading from here instead: http://www.cafe-encounter.net/p682/download-bootcamp-drivers

you need to know ur mac's model identifier to download the correct drivers though. launch About This Mac, More Info.., it should show under Hardware overview.

to doublecheck: http://www.everymac.com/systems/by_year/ma...ed-in-2012.html

take note that windows 8 is still not officially supported on Mac, so if you cant find drivers from Bootcamp Assiatant then you cant get it elsewhere
