mbp 13" is the most affordable one i guess. smile.gif get the lower range one and aim for the free 4gb memory upgrade. i believe illustrator can work well as long as no 3d stuff or intensive video editing.

Apple gives first year warranty right?

Yesterday (31, August 2009) I bought a NEW MacBook Pro, and today I went to

https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do

to check for the warranty.

It stated: Our records indicate that your product is covered under Apple's Limited Warranty which is estimated to expire on 15 May 2010.

I just bought it freaking yesterday and why my warranty ends on May?

What should I do now?

Is my MacBook Pro a used one?

you open this thread here in apple bite.. you can expect wat kind of answer liao brows.gif

but based on ur usage there, a macbook pro will definitely suits ur needs.. mbp will run programs faster and smoother are most likely due to its operating system which is far more bettter than windows i would say.. btw i'm not a mbp user yet so cant really comment much on it. lets see what pro say

OIC, but is it ok with any brands?
Will it cause any problem for MBP?
Can you suggest some of the brand which works well with MBP?

If you're the techie kind, buy a MBP with the smallest hard disk option and swap it yourself to a larger one. But if you're not confident, don't do it yourself. Get an authorized service center to do it for you.
