Ohhh Sherlyn,

sorry, we just make a short form

CBP - Celcom Broadband Prepaid simcard, a dedicated internet simcard, which i have found more stable than C3GB. Bad point is no calls or sms allowed. Packaging is black in color

C3GB - Celcom 3g Blue simcard (yeah u can activate your daily or weekly too)

than the 3gXpax and UOX. So, pretty much here, it helps when mentioning on which sim you are using.

Personally, i find CBP is the best. smile.gif

sherlyn,

yeah, sim card color is blue. My CBP is blue too..

What i meant is the packaging.

If yours can only sms to activate the 1 and 7 day subscribtion.., then yours must be CBP.. Packaging is Black right?

Yup, its definitely good for light users and users who only uses the net on certain weeks. Other than that, might as well go for Broadband Advance.

Celcom is known to have the most flexible packages.

was looking to purchase a celcom prepaid simpack for this and i'm in a quite dilemma since i only have one phone, and i need to receive calls at the same time.

if using C3GB i can forward calls from my number to the new sim, but it seems other than CBP, the rest of the prepaid is unstable.

While CBP is stable, i cant forward my voice call to the SIM. Dilemma.

Yeah i was in dilemma too.

But i finally managed to get a super cheap hp, below rm100, for my main line. smile.gif

Well, if you are going to use a weekly broadband, i would recommend you to get CBP, otherwise, the experience using other prepaid can be annoying (seeing that constant
error), and personally, i dont think it is worth my rm6 or rm20 since i would be frustrated, get annoyed and would be anger(purposely type anger not angry)..lol most of the time.

If you use internet on the go, most of the time, best is to get a cheap hp for your main line.

If you use internet mostly at home, and dont mind to fork out (rm200-rm300), then a usb modem seems the answer ( in long term, at least now you have a usb modem) or
buy a good cheap secondhand hp.

Or if you use internet mostly at home, and budget is a bit uptight, you are left with "keep-switching-your-sim card" option (provided that you dont mind missing calls at night, but maybe a No-No to ppl who constantly have important calls).

there's wifi all over the place i stay and study. I juz need the broadband for the once in a while out of town mission so getting a modem is not really necessary.

Xpax , you have to find the 3gxpax

But my Celcom Blue simpack (rm8.50) is a 3g sim card ready. It should have a "Celcom Prepaid (3g)" printed on the sim card. Yeah, you are right about the 64K thing.

At first i was asking for 3gxpax, but the hp seller told me he had none and Celcom Blue was 3g ready too.. so, i bought CB3G.

Anyway, Celcom Blue has different call n sms rates compared to Xpax.
