was looking to purchase a celcom prepaid simpack for this and i'm in a quite dilemma since i only have one phone, and i need to receive calls at the same time.

if using C3GB i can forward calls from my number to the new sim, but it seems other than CBP, the rest of the prepaid is unstable.

While CBP is stable, i cant forward my voice call to the SIM. Dilemma.

Yeah i was in dilemma too.

But i finally managed to get a super cheap hp, below rm100, for my main line.  smile.gif

Well, if you are going to use a weekly broadband, i would recommend you to get CBP, otherwise, the experience using other prepaid can be annoying (seeing that constant
error), and personally, i dont think it is worth my rm6 or rm20 since i would be frustrated, get annoyed and would be anger(purposely type anger not angry)..lol most of the time.

If you use internet on the go, most of the time, best is to get a cheap hp for your main line.

If you use internet mostly at home, and dont mind to fork out (rm200-rm300), then a usb modem seems the answer ( in long term, at least now you have a usb modem) or
buy a good cheap secondhand hp.

Or if you use internet mostly at home, and budget is a bit uptight, you are left with "keep-switching-your-sim card" option (provided that you dont mind missing calls at night, but maybe a No-No to ppl who constantly have important calls).

there's wifi all over the place i stay and study. I juz need the broadband for the once in a while out of town mission so getting a modem is not really necessary.

finally activated my CBP.
tested it from KL to Penang.

@ KL :
Speed at Cyberjaya/KL is great but latency is bad. Somewhere about 0.37Mbps/0.08Mbps/550ms/4 bar signal

@ Plus Highway:
Coverage is bad. Only managed to use when i'm near to the toll area in KL/Ipoh/Penang. It wont work at any other stretch of the highway even i forced my phone to work in GPRS. My guess is that the setting i used was 3G setting and therefore GPRS don't work.

Speed is below average at the area where i can use. Might be due to the fact that i'm moving at speed of above 80km/h

@ Penang/Kedah :
Speed is average but good latency. 0.33Mbps/0.11Mbps/250ms/2-3 bar signal

Reliability is good so far. The only time i got disconnected is when i ran out of 3G coverage in plus highway. Other than that, the service is so good so far.
