Long term could mean to sell when the price is right , maybe at RM 4.00 If you buy at RM 3.80 again.

haa i thought long term means u buy it and dont wanna see it for few mths / year?

So best maybe have a balanced fund strategy. 70% long term & 30% for play-play..

compared to the other markets in the region, KLSE drop very little only. everyone else drop ~1.5%, HK even drop almost 4%!

i swear i wont do that anymore......

My meaning for long term is :

Prepare for the share price to drop the moment I bought ( like TMI ).

Prepare for some paper loss.

When there is a gain, a new meaning again.

That is my version.

Not necessary. Can cut lost and buy back at lower price if feel price will drop more..

Dunno whether u have read Star Sunday biz news on TMI/Axiata.. make huge losses in Indonesia..its impairment losses will reflect soon in Q12009..
not sure how it will affect its price later.. I chk with few of my remiser also says dun go in now.. price not attractive.

Normally for Ex right... ppl play hit n run.. Last time TMI after break from TM but with alot losses and debts.. keep drop alot till RM 2++

I'm keeping myself as far away as I can from AXIATA and MAYBANK. With the recent price increase, they are really not attractive anymore.... to me anyway. Have a feeling that their prices will go down further after the rights issue unless the economy suddenly improves..... which is also unlikely....

My 0.8 cents rounded up to 1 cent opinion....
