If everybody exercise their rights issue for Maybank, then the EPS, Net Asset PS etc will be lower right? What would be the theoretical price for one Maybank share if everybody who has the rights exercise their rights?

Then why are people buying above this price of RM0.90?Added on April 7, 2009, 5:13 pm For Maybank, yes. Theoretical should be RM3.64, if I not remember wrongly. Because after the ex date the ordinary share price hike, then the option price also adjust up, but near to expiry of the option maybe can bargain hunt.AND I DIDN'T RECOMMEND FOR A BUY/ OR NO BUY, I am neutral on that, I just answer with the best of my knowledge (or personal opinion), so if anyone loss money (or earn money on the counter), I shouldn't be blamed (or praise), but I sincerely want it to go up (else I loss money also). Cheers... |

QUOTE(lklatmy @ Apr 7 2009, 05:24 PM) If you are buying for long term keep,I believe this counter will be worth with the stable earnings and lower gearing post RI. Thanks for your opinion. Pls judge your own, just my 2.00001 sen. I would also think TMI at RM 1.80 would be a good buy for long term. The weather is cloudy again. By Election results and the Dow. Hard to judge the direction of the wind at this moment. Long term is pretty OK. Best of luck to your business. I am still a broker based client. |

QUOTE(haksam @ Apr 7 2009, 06:08 PM) me too banging my head to wall seeing WCT continue to fly after letting go yesterday @ 1.34~ Putting in too much emotion, you would be trapped later.but, guess that's the fun part of trading too~ haha We all have to learn how to "let go" , not basing on sentiment or emotion to trade ( diff if loooooong term ). Sharks tend to let you taste a bit of sweetness likes a rat, then you are completely within their control. Play the reverse phyco. Read more from the Internet with an open mind.
