actually the car is fast, you might not feel it. LOL

seriously, your engine is a reliable one. just start out with an open pod, get the downpipe done( removing the cat con) you will gain. btw, exhaust sizing?

I am looking for Kancil Seat cover.. for the whole car..
coz my cushion got water mark on it... doesnt look good at all.. =.="

I am thinking for Fabric car seat cover... where can i get ya(selangor or KL area)

Where can i get my downpipe done & open pod air ram?
Changing downpipe achievable with stock turbo? or must change to bigger? hehehe!

ok, starting with open pod, source a open pod initially. hehehe. then head to a exhaust shop which does stainless steel fabrication, which also do FMIC pipings, get em to do it. i did mine about RM250 with all the silicon hoses and clamps. a little pricey, cos excluding the HKS open pod. haha.

next, downpipe and dumpipe. i've learnt, do a dump pipe.
down would be to remove the cat con. and dump is for an external exit for the actuator's flap beside the turbine wheel.
for a down/dump pipe, the same guys who can do the air ram, should be able to do this. UNLIKE what you may find in the "tech talk" section of this forum, where apparently SOME CLAIM AND INSIST fabricating a down/dump pipe will take a week, only a hand full of people are SPEACIALIZED to do it and etc. in fact i got mine done very fast and done right.

with that 2 upgrades, your surely gonna enjoy your stock L5/L2 or whatever 660 you have tongue.gif

the upgrades will allow your engine, turbo to run more efficiently. why? stock air filter box is crappy. see how restricted it is? tucked into the corner, blocked from proper air flow. i've read that open pod sucks hot air from engine bay heat. yea of cos. duh. right? but if stock filter box, cold and hot air both TARAK! your engine will wanna run on what? hopes and dreams? so more air, no matter hot cold like katie perry, is better than no air.

and for the down/dump pipe. its gonna mainly allow your turbo to spool up faster, no more cat con. but "forum" mechs will tell you, of but no back pressure. no this and that. so its better to not let your turbo spool? better drive a stock kancil then. with quicker spool, surely its gonna max out faster. but save to say, our JBJL ( not sure about L2 ) are happy revving higher. so what if the turbo maxes out?

and changing a bigger turbo has its perks, but that's a WHOLE different story....... rclxub.gif

Whoa...that some long explanation! Cool!

I've removed the cat con the last i changed to the rsr exhaust.
Looks like next up will be open pod! Seriously the stock air box really have a tough time getting air in.
Might DIY heat shield for the open pod, not sure if it helps.

well, i bought mine for RM70 halfcut condition, and replaced the element, RM60-80 i cant remember tongue.gif

K&N filters are abit more expensive. Around RM200, and you might need to get the piping done.

i think its possible. but to confirm, if a 850 square lamp model kancil's rear lamp can fit, then l2 lamps can fit tongue.gif

Okay.. i start to feel like a noob here.. tongue.gif help me out guys.. wat do i do with a half cut standard turbo with a standard 850 engine? wat r the other stuffs that i need to change? is getting half cut better or i need to get the whole engine change before i can start considering half cut parts?

Definitely CANNOT fit. Kancil belalang tail light are smaller and shaped slightly differently. It is also made to fit with the kancil belalang bumper. I think its better to buy new ones. Perodua parts are very expensive. China parts are the cheapest but will fade (the red part fades to pinkish color). Taiwan parts are better, best bang for buck.

I'm a noob too bro. I don't get what you mean. Do you want to hybrid 850 carb with a turbo engine i.e. bolt on turbo? This is a lot of work and will give you headache.

Or you are currently using a 850 carb engine and want to convert to a halfcut turbo engine? If this is the case, you may use back your aircond system (if L2s) and gearbox (better for long distance driving I believe). If its L5 4piston engine, then you need to use back the halfcut aircond set. That's about it I think. Better get a halfcut engine. Everything you need is there from the fuel tank to the dashboard to the absorbers and disc brake.
