If you are looking for a great C.Viper player, add WhatWhatInMyButt to your friend list. That's my real life friend. However, he may not be able to beat characters he never encountered before for few games.
*
That is a great name. I'll add him later.

Did your friend participate in the tournament? smile.gif

I must have the worst C Viper in existance.

blanka most of the time to stop ryu / ken / akuma / abel from catching me with cross up tongue.gif  when me use blanka.....less ppl try x-up....heheheh...

but now am learning ryu /ken but opponent alwiz jump in / cross up n i cant do nuts....except get combo hits by them...haiz.....me so nooob......me like punching bag (full of beans)...smile.gif
*
lol join me in the business, i'm one of the best punching bag in this forum. and about the cross ups... lol... my brother sometimes might own me with this combo:
(RyU)cross up MK>MK>hadouken>F.Cancel>low MK>Heavy Shoryuken>F.Cancel>Metsu Hadouken

that would teach you the meaning of pain... imagine me always at the receiving end of this.
kekekekeke

but it's damn beautiful to watch, i might add.

QUOTE(rawfish @ Mar 24 2009, 01:22 AM)
Hey congrats on your new 40 incher. Your bro just duly announced to this forum so enjoy watching Sakura's fwd+MK smile.gif

If you have SFHD, damn the colors are really brought out to life on a screen this size. Very beautiful.

Added on March 24, 2009, 1:31 amI'm sure TristanX's is high, plenty of testimonies of people of him winning 20-1 etc etc.

By the way, I don't think win ratios paint an accurate picture on the player's level of game competency. Closest would be BPs in ranked matches - but then again the algorithm is so scr*wed up. E.g. when you reach 3500-4000 BPs and fight vs a 2000-odd BP player you lose 50-80+ BPs but if win, you get 1-5 sad.gif

And I'm saying this because a 2000-odd BP player is considered good already, and he has a fair chance of winning. This makes it extremely hard for the higher BP players to climb up. As for those top 5 people in PSN, damn they aren't going to move. I don't think they will ever risk fighting anyone!
*
lol Sakura fwd+MK... you.....
i dun have SF2HD, but i'm seen some of its HD promotional videos, sure looks beautiful.
I can tell you that SF4 with this TV, is really a marvel. we just cant stop watching it happen. and we keep trying to discover and do the longest juggle combos that we can manage, and keep doing them again and again, just to enjoy every sequence of it.
totally in love with SF4.

QUOTE(TristanX @ Mar 24 2009, 07:00 AM)
Like I said before, experience counts. You will eventually able to judge on where to block.
78% at the moment. It's not easy to win real life friends who knows how I play. Not like it matters anyway. I do mess around with other characters. Win ratio only matters when you play good players and with your best character(s).
*
haha yeah. i guess you are right.
we hope we can play against you more though.
it's always a nice thing to fight against you as you always give us lots of stuffs to learn.
i'm spam invites at you the moment i get my internet back!
hahahaha

QUOTE(TristanX @ Mar 24 2009, 11:52 AM)
Just save up for it. It's actually worth it.

As you know, I have to pay RM1 per game on the arcades long time ago. Imagine playing it more than 1000 times.
*
i second that =)
the arcade stick.. is really worth every penny you spend.

p/s: sorry for the long reply, i dun intend to spam... jsut that i dun have time nowadays to reply as i used to do.

He participated but didn't show up because of real life issues. He's still the best C.Viper I played.

About spectating, why doesn't this game have it? I was expecting it to be there.

I mean, if it was available, we could have like exhibition matches and other players would be able to watch.

...and it'll help keep us from getting bored while we wait for challengers with good connections.

Yeah, I'm using Virtua Stick High Grade. I hope they would add spectating options in the future.

Capcom confirms there will be Championship Mode Expansion Pack in the future and it's a free download, source:

Hori Real Arcade Pro 3, aka HRAP 3. Prices recently skyrocketed to about RM500 though, but that's still cheaper than the MadCatz stick.

If you're really interested in the SF4 stick, get the Tournament Edition, though that's the really expensive one. AVoid the Standard Edition stick, lots of reported problems.

Do keep in mind that sticks are in huge demand currently, and not many shops stock them, so you might have trouble. I myself got lucky an a graet forumer here sold his stick to me. smile.gif
