i cant do my sakura combo in lag XD the link timing very tight.
my brother also damn annoyed with his Akuma links combos. hahaha
so far only succeeded one time out of the entire night, then i gave up and play with all other characters. hahaha

Akuma, and Ryu are played by my brother, twwong.
i use Sakura, Gouken, and others to add some fun.

kinda hard to break your Guile Defense though, then whenever we rush for attacks you punish us with the short but painful classic combo.

and we know you always wait for a jump for shouryuken>Metsu Hadoken juggle =P
learn to use focus cancel and you can do it in a combo!

hahaha.
but we really want to learn to beat you. so now you are our next target!

was trying really hard to catch your Rufus's play style.


it's never been good, but last night and tonight were especially bad

yeah i find you spam it so much. most of the time you hit me becoz of the lag, coz sometimes though i reacted to it but the lag prevented me to block, but once it's been figured out it's pretty easy to have you miss the upper cut. Sakura's upper cut is not really an anti air move, and it's a pretty lousy single attack coz you land right next to your opponent after you wiffed it or blocked, try to use it in a combo instead. try doing LK>LP>LK>heavy uppercut, it gives you time to react even though it's blocked, you can just do hadoken after your LK is blocked.

my fav combo is the one i copied from Justin Wong, though due to the lag it's insanely hard to pull this off online:
Jump HK>MK>light spinning kick>LK>EX Spinning Kick>whatever

it's quite flexible coz you can break the combo up and start anywhere and end with the ex spinning kick.

Sakura's HK is a very good poking move, try to learn to use it.

those are my experience in using Sakura for the last 2 weeks, i hope it helps.
btw, completing the Sakura Challenges really helps.

welcome to the world of Lag SF4!

i think you are taking the taunting too seriously.
it's in the game, it's meant to be used.
if you over react to it and have a lousier game, it just means that you are immature, emotion wise.
taunts don't do no damage, just ignore it.
it's for fun!

hahaha true also.
the reason i DUN do taunts is becoz i already have my hands full trying to land blows.
no time to press the taunt buttons!

i'd be more annoyed if my opponent decides to came at the other side of the screen instead of trying to finish me off.

one thing about jabs and LK i learned about, is not to throw them individually.
ken for example, you can always do the LK>LP>MK>Hadoken for tight counters and you push your opponent to a safe distance after your hadoken is executed.

my sakura for example, i always have Lk>LP>LK>upper cut/spinning kick.
quite effective, i would assume most characters have similar moves.

i hate tristan when he's already jumping and doing a cross up when i'm still falling from a jump. i cant judge if it's a cross up or not.

hahaha, speaking of the TV, it has brought our satisfaction of SF4 to a whole new level.

damn i've never imagined playing SF4 on a good TV makes this much difference.

(RyU)cross up MK>MK>hadouken>F.Cancel>low MK>Heavy Shoryuken>F.Cancel>Metsu Hadouken

that would teach you the meaning of pain... imagine me always at the receiving end of this.

i dun have SF2HD, but i'm seen some of its HD promotional videos, sure looks beautiful.
I can tell you that SF4 with this TV, is really a marvel. we just cant stop watching it happen. and we keep trying to discover and do the longest juggle combos that we can manage, and keep doing them again and again, just to enjoy every sequence of it.
totally in love with SF4.

ryu mana need long combos, just low MK>shouryuken>f.cancel>metsu hadoken=50% damage.

omg i really hate it.

actually i saw the stick today at Digital Mall today, at Brother's Games.
the one with swap-able 8 buttons and 4 buttons panels.
feels solid, but never used it so no idea how good it is.
if someone is looking for an arcade stick maybe you'd like to check it out, they (the store keepers) are nice.

you know, if you stop doing jump kick (apart from cross ups) for a while, you will actually discover LOTS of attacking options.
at least it works for me.

but for Tristan, i'm still incredibly predictable. =P
