Yeah, I honestly haven't dont much actual bidding, most of it I just grab a buy it now, since they tend to pop up just as much, and I've been kicking myself in the butt for not just grabbing a few other cheap zoids from GSAM, as there were several for like, 3 bucks and up, but oh well.

I'm not all that talented with these models, as anyone can twist a piece out of plastic and take a knife to shave the plastic down flush, so I'm kind of scared to get a HMM, but I'm also still just as tempted, if I do, It will either be a several day can't-stop-building project, or it'll last months feverishly taking a day at a time to make every single part perfect, won't really know until I get one, but you guys will know if i do lol.

I would love to see some new zoids models coming out, especially if they did a whole new release, with many of the originals.
I don't expect to ever see the cp's come out again, at least not for Liger Zero, but perhaps limited edition sets of Liger Zero with one or all interchangeable armors.
Or I can't even fathom them releasing HMM's of Liger Zero and his CAS... I think those would sell out in days no matter how many they made...

Don't mind that puddle... I just drooled a bit thinking about that.

Poking around a bit, just noticed this;
http://www.yesasia.com/us/zoids-ez-034-gen...-0-en/info.html

Is it just me, or is that a pretty good deal, especially to be new in a store?
Perhaps all the non-english text is telling me something important, like it's an empty box or something?

This, I think there is a fat chance of Kotobukiya releasing Liger Zeros + etc. Only after they're done toying with HMM Iron Kong mould I guess. PK, Yeti, MKII wow!

Added on December 28, 2009, 12:07 pmIt's a reissued GenoBreaker (TAKARATOMY instead of TOMY) hence the higher price. IMO it's a good price as YESASIA provides international shipping.

It just seems like a pretty cheap price for it, and I realized I was wrong about the zoids I had gotten from the original kid, it was a Geno Breaker, not geno saurer.

Either way it was broken, so I'm not to distraught about it.

Oh man though, if they ever did release HMM Liger Zero kits, people would pay 150 for them easy... at least I know I would.
Oh well, I'll just go on waiting until i can afford to buy some originals, or at least, until i befriend all of you guys and find a fountain of youth so I can outlive you all.

Lol

Hi, Castro897! if you haven't already done so, i really recommend that you join ZOIDSPOISON. there are many US zoiders there who can point you in the right direction on where to get more zoids. some are even selling their spares, you may find something you want. smile.gif

And bro ahtiven, i hope you are right! i want that HMM IK PK or MK II so bad! laugh.gif

Good to hear, I just joined up, hopefully there are some cool things going on there as well as what's going on here.

Now I just need to remember to check two forums >.<

And not that it's a huge deal, but my Zoids collection has just deteriorated by a factor of 1
(Gave my slightly broken Gustav to my girlfriend today, I'm short on room, she's got extra space, and her Gordos and Zeke needed a friend)

Thank goodness I'm not into HMM Zoids. Yet. lol and not anytime soon... no bullets to follow the lightning fast HMM releases from Kotobukiya.

As for the ZP, it has been very quiet over there. The big guys APM, Doc, m_w are back lurking already. only Spartan's active and not forgetting Ed tongue.gif

Im pretty much done with IK HMM. Just few panelining, painting and stickering! hahaha Anyway what bothers me about this IK is that the "absorbers" has to be painted gold and silver. Why cant they pre-painted it like those form ShielD ligers and Command wolfs. Oh about the 6th toe... its kinda like extras if u want them attached. I also found out that it has a 6th finger... well not exactly, there is this hidden tiny little finger which serves no purpose, but its hard to tell that its there. I might be able to show the complete product tomorrow.

It took me about 5 days with 6 hours each to complete. I would say its not too difficult but manageable but caution.... READ the bubble highlights on the manual carefully.

Hello all Zoidians!

Got a story to share!

So yesterday around 11pm almost midnight, after a number of calls, Apeyapz finally found my place to pick me up, going over to his place. In the dining room, saw a lot of dark kingdom boxes, (all are sold, according to him) even some undisclosed prototypes for his upcoming projects. Heart soars when you see incomplete piles of Gilvader parts lying in their respective boxes, unwanted and alienated. And the number of flattened King G boxes are enough to cover a badminton court. (exaggeration) I think he's going to recycle them for greener Earth. tongue.gif

In The Room™, you can see Transformers, PVC chicks, Kaijus, Kamen Riders, Chogokins, Air Soft sniper gun, ISobot, Scitex series etc and of course, ZOIDS is in dominance number, left, right, up, down, back.. Zoids everywhere. Two Gojulas Ogres slaughthered on the tables, 4-5 chromed King G, some built HMMs, some built vintage (Wardick, Gunbluster and Gorgolauncher drool.gif) and a big number of built NJR Zoids. Words cannot convey my feelings lol. The sheer number of toys he has has grown almost triple since I last went almost 2 years ago.

No picture because I did not want to intrude his privacy, I didn't even ask whether can I tag my camera along. (Maybe I should've asked -__-wink.gif

So yeah, you must be wondering why he picked me up purposely at an odd time, that's because I'm buying Zoids from him! xD

Ta daaa!!!
Anime correct version of Zoids; Van's liger and Schubalt's Kong!

Too bad the DVDs that came with them are not able to be played properly.. it skips, hangs, shows green lines on my player. Refused to play on my PS3 as well as it is region locked. This makes me a saaaaaaaaaad panda. sad.gif You guys able to play the DVDs?

That's really one Hey-I'm-innocent pose haha. 5 days+ time spent for this ape, panel lined and stickered. I hope you enjoyed every single moment constructing the beast. Ed.

You're correct about the room, the narrow passageway can only accommodate one person at a time.

Will post my other grabs by batch. xD

I think I would just explode if I were able to go somewhere filled with zoids, or even if I knew someone else who had zoids lol.

What are the differences between Vahn's Shield Liger and the regular Shield Ligers?
I'm not sure what releases my Shield Ligers were, I believe they were different boxes, i still have the boxes in my shed, but they were identical as far as I could tell.

Also at Ed, how much painting did you put into your IK? It looks great, and for the most part it looks like its still the original colors, if I could get away with having an amazing looking HMM like that without having to do too too much painting it would make it so much more attainable.

ahtiven, you mean you got the entire rebirth set like you said? amazing!

Castro, The Van Anime Version Shield Liger was just release recently. Todate the other release adapted from the anime is Iron Kong Schwartz driven by Karl Shubaltz.

The colors are different on Vans Shield liger compared to the NJRs. Also came with a DVD containing scenes from the anime.

About the Iron Kong, i only painted the absorbers and hoses gold and silver. The rest are panel line to highlights the details and curves. The rest are original colors. Anyway ive improved it quite abit by shading the cut sprue marks so that it wont show on close ups.

I think its about 500g - 1kg there about.

Ehhhh! You'll see.

BTW thanks for explaining to Castro about the Anime Zoids. You haven't tried the DVDs, have you? And can I bet this is the heaviest HMM Zoids so far? xD

@zoidbliss
On a second scan through, you are right! haha really observant, learnt from Sherlock Holmes? tongue.gif

Now we need confirmation from Ed whether the manual is wrong or the pre-released picture is flawed.

EDIT: Okay, scanned through the Hobbysearch link from zoidbliss, Ed, you gotta do the correction it seems.
