You know... going by his name, he should be sticking to his morals more. This guy... don't bother tongue.gif  Blocked him ages ago. Still spams DC threads like crazy but hey, that's him. Name calling, definitely uncalled for.

"IT" was creepy indeed, absolutely. Scary, maybe not so much but still loved it.

It (2017) (Addendum)

For my original review, please go to

Mov_freak's IT review

What I want to talk about here now is the HD version of this movie.

Fantastic transfer

The picture quality and sound if excellent.

Although the book took place in the 1980s... the movie brought the time line to 1990s.

The details are amazing (picture and sound)

Definitely is reference for me.

My Additional Two Sen

Would it not be interesting, if they waited 27 years to make IT's sequel, so they can us the same actors for the sequel?? tongue.gif

I remember reading the book when I was a kid...probably around when I was 10. In hindsight it wasn't a book suited to my age. Very adult and dark! I can't remember too much about it now, except that the book was creepy as fuck and also weird as shit. In equal measures possibly.

Anyway the movie is a glossy, Hollywood adaptation of the book that lacks any scares whatsoever. In fact the creepiest part of the entire movie happens in the first 5 mins, with the iconic drain scene from the book. It's all downhill from there, with telegraphed scares aplenty, replete with CGI. You've seen the kids here in so many movies before so even they don't entertain.

I read it when I was 13. Some parts were truly creepy!

Looks dope! James McAvoy gonna kill it as usual

IT part 1 was great. Creepy & done right

This one deals with his daughter & ultimately him

Really liked the BGM. Easily the most intense, heart-pounding bgm ever used in mainstream film trailer barring superhero films complete with those creepy "huhuhu" giggle lol

Feels alot darker, intense & definetly alot brutal for sure....faint hearted beware

Already giving the feels of this sequel is gonna overshadow its part 1 counterpart

One wishes such trend keeps popping from time to time...to bring us to reality in the midst of kid-friendly super hero films onslaught
