Quite a number of weakness yet still.. but i know apple is very clever in making money, they will keep releasing updates and then new models, slowly ....

if they pack all the features in 1 model n launch.. then they cant make money...

Yeah, we know Apple being 'Apple' and they said that flash is not energy efficient and it takes a toll onto the battery life. I think its more like a licensing issue. The Java component should have been implemented, a lot of sites uses it. But hey, the average fanboy will you this, "We've got an app for this. There is no need to use Safari". Hehehe!

I think that has been discussed over here a few posts back. It should be solved with the v3.0 update.

Or you can wait for the .ipcc dump file? I upgraded my iPod Touch this way too (by doing a restore with that file) and skipped the stupid upgrade fee. But that was 2 weeks after launch. After the v2.0 'free' update, 2.1, 2.2, 2.2.1 came automatically.

I'm just going through a personal regression mood now, that I cant seem to source out a way to get the 3G[S] as early as I wish it to be. NZ launching the same as Malaysia (which is as vague as "July '09"), and dilemmas as for from where I can get them coming June 26th.

Can those countries from the third wave (July '09) get off their collective asses and put a firm date on WHEN on July this is going to happen?

The countries on the third wave would probably launch simultaneously with each other, but when that date is, remains up in the air.

My only bloody gripe with getting one from Australia is the fact that I had to wait it out to get the unlock within Australian coverage (stay inside Australia), when my nightstops are pretty tight to begin with. The best chance I can have would be the KUL-SYD-BNE trip but God knows when I'm gonna get that again.

No. The days of taking leaps of faiths for me are over. The last time I took chances was for the iPhone EDGE, and I was extremely lucky that the unlocks were available 3 days later.

i would most prolly wait for singtel or maxis to see what they have for offer... hopfully got upgrade plans from singtel, i rather buy it from spore

thats true thou.. they took sometimes to unlock (as i use optus) i took me 6 days for them to unlock my phone last time... and becoz of that time i have to take the biggest risk of my life.....

if OS 3.0 upgraded, means the iphone need to jailbreak again right? sorry, I'm not so savvy in this kind.
