Ahh....to the contrary mine is a Madrid as she only knows handsome Cassilas and Raul during the WC. Haven't got her a Madrid jersey yet, but previously had requested melt to help buy back a lady size current season's jersey..... call me selfish.

haha....
We should return back to pool's thread.

I would rather endure all this misery and then win the lot. The pain of defeat is temporary, trust me... The liverpool fans would rather be in our shoes (we still top the league and are still in the other 3 competitions)..

Can't wait to see how the lads respond at Craven Cottage next week.... I hope to see a changed attitude from the lads..

Can't wait for the Fulham match. Want to put this behind. Why no midweek matches? International?

Manchester United Are Looking Tired – Arsene Wenger

QUOTE
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes Manchester United are suffering from fatigue and insisted that this was evident in their 4-1 defeat to Liverpool yesterday.

Rafael Benitez’s men enjoyed an emphatic win at Old Trafford to reduce the gap at the top of the Premier League to just four points, albeit having played a game extra.

Liverpool enjoyed an extra day’s rest compared to United, following their Champions League games in midweek, and also enjoyed a rest last weekend after being knocked out of the FA Cup.

Wenger believes these factors were crucial in yesterday’s game and, speaking to arsenal.com, he said he also believed the title race was back on.

“It is, yes. I think Man United have played many games since January and today they looked a little bit jaded,” said the Arsenal boss.

"You could see that Liverpool didn’t play in the FA Cup last week and they had a good opportunity to refresh before playing Real Madrid and Man United. Plus they had one more day than Man United did.

“You could see when the experienced United players make mistakes it is down to fatigue.”

Fatigue, hmm.. idk. Maybe, because IMO our defense was actually solid like Solex. I don't know if Solex is easy to break but if you try non-stop hammering it sooner or later it will break. I think so..

Even Buffon the world no.1 goalkeeper also make some mistakes. Remember he slip a slow and low shot between his leg during Serie A match. Oliver Kahn also get red card because he try to score with his hand. Everybody make mistakes nod.gif

This was exactly the thing that I was talking about before the game. That we (Utd AND Liv fans) should respect the result whichever way it goes and put a hold on posting on each others thread.

I see a decent amount of congratulatory messages on the Liv thread from Utd supporters, and i expect some amount of respect from the pool fans as well.

If you have nothing good to say, then dont come in here and mouth off. Yes you have the bragging rights, and i completely accept that but that doesnt mean you come in here and antagonize us or make crude remarks about our club.

Im not gona bother reporting you for your behaviour that may lead to alota trouble, but i expect you have the decency to at least stop posting such stupid remarks here or edit your post.

I was so surprised with our defeated.
We conceded 4 times....and it happened in Old Trafford, I couldn't believe it.

I'm surprise with Vida make 2 mistakes and got sent off. But let's support Vida. We still need him to defend.

Come On United, United We Stand!!!

Just a brief summary on yesterday's gathering at Hartamas Square.

We have to say thanks to Apis for being there at 5.45 and securing us a place. thumbup.gif No mean feat considering he came all the way from Dengkil notworthy.gif

No thanks to Sin for SMSing me at 6.10 saying he overslept tongue.gif

Quite a good turnout as shown by Parasitomol's pics. That is not including 5 others who are camery shy.

Some of us even stayed after the game to watch the Arsenal's game and surprisingly other than my 2 mates who are Arsenal fans, there are almost no one else watching shocking.gif

There is a joke that when the game started there are no volume. After the first goal when my mate celebrated, they increased is slightly and it is almost audible after the third goal. laugh.gif

All in all except for the scoreline, we had a good time manage to meet few more M.U.S.T. forumners. Even venture into enemy territory to congratulate them. Met most if not all their senior forumners whom are definately over the moon.

BTW I'm slightly dissapointed with Whoopa. Lyn should make a new rule if who wanna put the female tag they have to provide a photocopy of IC.

Vida is not in his top form, hence liverpool take advantage..This is a good wake up slap for the players, hope they come back stronger!

Sourced from LP's thread

I agree with the first 2 points la, the most obvious and glaring of all.

But I don't really agree on the third, somehow because Ronaldo's magic hasn't been filtering through for the past few months, I'd say, other than FK (even FKs also deteriorate, compared to last year)

The fourth, not really too, because we simply didnt have the results to make up for it. We went close to scoring a couple of times la, but it was the fault of our strikers that had failed us from scoring, and the fault of the midfield too.

Rooney more than ever. After mouthing off about his disdain for his neighbours, the last thing he'd wanted was to suffer humiliation in front of his own fans. I'm sure this result will be the kick up the arse we all needed. All the talk about the quintuple must have gotten into their heads, and theres no assuming that the trophies are in the bag. Fergie mentioned that we must bounce back, and bounce back we must. Fulham at Craven Cottage will be the opp we need to set things right again. This result will be a mere blip if we can secure no.18. Let the Pool fans rejoice over this one, fact is, they'd trade places with us in a heartbeat.
