QUOTE(shortleg88 @ Mar 14 2009, 02:45 PM) Anderson was caught out of position quite a lot of time, Vidic did an uncharacteristic mistakes, Evra mistime a tackle. Well said la, shortlegs. To tell the truth, liverpool has been creating more chances than us, i feel. A draw would suck, but oh well. If this result stays, we'll be 4 points ahead with 1 game in hand right? No complain there, wouldn't say we deserve to be behind, but they took their chances better. Something like Arsenal game. Both team play well, but is the team that take their chances that can make themselves count. Hope we can pull back an early goal in d 2nd half. But a draw wouldn't be that bad also, just hope we don lose. |

Just a reminder, we still have a few impact subs like Giggs and Berbatov. Still can play if SAF plays his subs well.

ey guys. If you're unhappy with the team's performance, I understand. It is also completely in your right to rant about it I know. But I really don't understand why you all are shooting down players who have normally done well and crucifying them over one match's performance?

QUOTE(yhtan @ Mar 14 2009, 03:54 PM) Park was alright la. I was quite amazed at Park's substitution, the only ball winner we had on the pitch. The only player I had respect for was Rooney and Tevez tonight. Absolutely outstanding in determination, chasing lost causes, doing their best. QUOTE(schmeichel7 @ Mar 14 2009, 03:58 PM) To all fans here.. I have been quite pissed for a while here, not at the team, but at the "fans" on this thread. I have no right to say anything regarding them, but I'll just like to say to those who have dished out ignorant comments and flamebaited at other's threads. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. You remind me of 11 year olds who are childish and attention seeking. Grow up please! 1. Stop complaining ridiculously like asking SAF to retire. 2. Don't behave like idiots like flaming other threads or being sore losers. 3. You guys clearly forgot (I too) how it feels to be beaten. Yes 1-4 is harsh, and harsher since it was at Old Trafford. But this is when we see TRUE FANS not glory hunters who behave like idiots once a team lose. 4. Keep the spirits up. Glory glory Man United. 5. We will have revenge next season. And remember the BPL trophy..... As to the more mature fans who I see and those who of the regular residents of the MUST thread, I would just say, let them say what they want and don't get pissed off. It's useless getting angry and it's useless scolding them back, they will only visit this thread when they need to rant. Don't stoop to their level. QUOTE(utp_tyco @ Mar 14 2009, 04:27 PM) EWWWWW QUOTE(fookie @ Mar 14 2009, 04:28 PM) Rough la, but we should have done the same anyway. Rival matches, common la. PS. It's not called rough, it's called "very close punya closing down". |

On the brighter side, at least we won the CL match and lost the PL one, which we could afford to. If it had been the other way around... >_<

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Sourced from LP's thread I agree with the first 2 points la, the most obvious and glaring of all. But I don't really agree on the third, somehow because Ronaldo's magic hasn't been filtering through for the past few months, I'd say, other than FK (even FKs also deteriorate, compared to last year) The fourth, not really too, because we simply didnt have the results to make up for it. We went close to scoring a couple of times la, but it was the fault of our strikers that had failed us from scoring, and the fault of the midfield too. Tata is such a huge company group so diversified beyond one's imagination. I think they'll certainly be a huge sum of money from Tata, and it makes perfect sense for them to use this chance to put their brand into the sportlight. So as Saudi Telecom, tossing a bit of saudi cash into the BPL,
AirAsia.... I dont think they can afford to sponser Man Utd's T-shirts la, as much as i would like them to. Rmbr, 1/3 of MU's revenue comes from T-shirt sponsership. I don't know how much that is, but I doubt AA's ability to sponser it would be quite... limited. I rather they use the money to compete against MAS lol~ Added on March 27, 2009, 10:33 am QUOTE(narutokun83 @ Mar 26 2009, 06:15 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « OKKayyy... err aerodynamic-ness. QUOTE(Hevrn @ Apr 1 2009, 10:21 AM) Its true actually. Was doing a lil research for my assignment few days back and lo and behold, Angola actually posted about a 15% real GDP growth, about the third best in the globe, well above the world average. Praise be to the United marketing dept. Which is the 1st and the 2nd best then? 15% growth is mighty big...
