Again like I reiterated countless times; why do you guys need to reply to nonsense?! To those that succumb, aren't we like them than.

QUOTE(aboogee @ Mar 15 2009, 12:26 PM) The pain i carry from last night is undeniable and unrelenting. may i use you siggy? It wasnt as bad as when I woke up this morning because I love to read The Star on sundays to see the table, to read on how we won, and it'd make for a fantastic week I see all of us carry a grudge on Rooney for making the comments that he did. Every since 2003, Ive always realised, when our players keep their mouth shut before a big match, we will definitely go on to win. So whne Rooney was mouthing off, i had a really bad feeling about the game. But can ya blame him? The reporter asked him questions, so i guess he just wanted to tell how he truly felt. Having said that, i take this loss with pride, and honestly, i embrace it! Why? When was the last time we lost ?? Gosh, that was in November 2008 wasnt it? That was ages ago, and maybe this is exactly what we need. We take a loss at the hands of our fiercest rival and a BEATING at that. Now we're 4 points ahead and a game in hand. Do you think our team is going to lie down and wither ?? Time and time again, we've showed that we're not invincible, but if we fall, we rise again ... we rise again, we move forward like an unstoppable force. Last night, before the game, i didnt say a word to the Pool fans, they sed they wud beat us and thrash us. I jus smiled and sed we'll do the talking on the field. The result ... we were annihilated... After the game, as they were gloating and snickering away, i told them, if United dont win the Title this season, I will burn my jersey. They sed if United do win it, theyll burn theirs. Some of you might think im reckless, some of you might think that its a sign of disloyalty, but I can tell you this, Everytime I made a bet with my jersey as the stake, ive never lost. As some of you know, im a Punter, and i can tell you, United will not lose this title! We will respond, We will Rise again. |

QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Mar 15 2009, 04:19 PM) Let us all stop posting for 1 minute in order to give a minute of silence to mourn the loss of Manchester United against Liverpool. aiya...black day? i would say a good lesson indeed for devils if they are to achieve quintuple this season. I knew that they will be punished one day if they keep the same performance against inter that night and true enough, they were punished for the next match. luckily, lady luck was with us that night.i have been watching man utd for the past 15 years...seen them kena thrashed by many teams b4...chelsea, arsenal, newcastle, ac milan, etc and this is part of football, we will never win all the matches forever, and good thing this is not a cup competition...the most important thing is how they respond, i would say a black day if the effects of this trashing keeps on for the rest of the season, but i believe in SAF...he will motivate and transform them back into world beaters..T'was a black, black night .... I would rather endure all this misery and then win the lot. The pain of defeat is temporary, trust me... The liverpool fans would rather be in our shoes (we still top the league and are still in the other 3 competitions)..
Can't wait to see how the lads respond at Craven Cottage next week.... I hope to see a changed attitude from the lads.. |

QUOTE(eric84cool @ Mar 15 2009, 03:21 PM) OMG....my fren was telling me that liverpool is the favourite team who going to win EPL league this season...that time he was telling me in the beginning of the season and he got the information from the bookie....I hope that it's not true...... Bookies... why isn't it not surprising ? its called fishing to 'cheat' desperate punters (largely liverpool fans maybe) |

I hope to see a changed attitude from the lads.. to be honest despite all the hype on last night's match and whatever people said of its significance, it didn't really get my adrenalin pumping as expected. can't see utd dropping 8 points, and sad to say, even harder to see liverpool winning all the remaining games. |
