well, maybe it's good for man utd to lose, they have been overconfident lately and the signs can be seen from inter match..luckily it's not cup competition..history have shown that devils are capable of fighting back..go devils@1!

i dont really understand why anderson is in. =\

hey it's not anderson's fault...it's the whole team's fault...

do you think you are better than SAF's thoughts?

QUOTE(Pain_X @ Mar 14 2009, 11:05 PM)
The scoreline didnt do the game justice.
Pool had a penalty just before the break.
Led 2-1.
Then defended until the 77th minute, where Vidic got sent off (fairly,i suppose) and they scored another dead ball goal.
Playing with 10 man for the remaining  15 minutes,we had no choice but to attack.
The sad part was the changes came just before the red card,so Fergie couldnt even set-up the defence properly.
The 4th goal merely added to the pain...

In all,it was by NO WAY WHATSOEVER a dominating performance; a thrashing maybe, but thats it.
*
well, that's good...not dominating performance, but good tactic by rafa, and poor performance by our players....good wake up call..

yah..it's whole team fault ..i do agree..
but SAF might make mistake..every human did ...
somehow wat i think SAF shud put at least an experience player to guide the midfield..
it's messy though.  sad.gif
*
well..it's not as easy as you think by selecting a player...

you have to think of form, scholes perform badly at inter match..

you have to think of fitness...this, normally the physio coach will assess them and tell alex about the player's fitness...

and maybe, SAF thought of anderson's energy to stop gerrard explosiveness, scholes might not do well..

and lastly, anderson is not a bad player after all, he's a decent player except for his shooting.

i think the team is over confident (inter match is obvious)...this match will teach them a lesson...and i'm happy that devils lose, and hope they can bounce back for the next match..

the bad thing of losing badly to liverpool will make the neutrals think that liverpool is unstoppable now, by whacking 4 goals consecutively and it gave them the confidence of beating anybody in the world if they are at their best. well, at least we are not outplayed by them like real madrid..just that, we make many mistakes, giving them chance to counter attack..

*Raise hands*
I felt the subs were too late too. happy.gif
*
hmm, i don't think so, this is SAF's character, normally sub only around 65-75 minutes..unlike mourinho, he would normally sub them at halftime

i believe SAf has his own reason, because sub at 65-75 = fresh legs vs tired legs...but, sub earlier might had made more impact...

Let us all stop posting for 1 minute in order to give a minute of silence to mourn the loss of Manchester United against Liverpool.

T'was a black, black night .... sad.gif
*
aiya...black day? i would say a good lesson indeed for devils if they are to achieve quintuple this season. I knew that they will be punished one day if they keep the same performance against inter that night and true enough, they were punished for the next match. luckily, lady luck was with us that night.i have been watching man utd for the past 15 years...seen them kena thrashed by many teams b4...chelsea, arsenal, newcastle, ac milan, etc and this is part of football, we will never win all the matches forever, and good thing this is not a cup competition...the most important thing is how they respond, i would say a black day if the effects of this trashing keeps on for the rest of the season, but i believe in SAF...he will motivate and transform them back into world beaters..

as what i can see.....

p/s: source from uefa.com

btw you know why they are always not able to win any trophy??

i doubt Mu will be having a great challenger if Liverpool is able to keep their condition in that good for at least quarter season. just my 2 cents.

save ur breath.....there's no need to reply to his taunt....everyone in the world knows the truth which squad is better, who's the best and who's the best manager...only ignorant fool will denied that.

QUOTE(DaGlue @ Mar 16 2009, 07:04 PM)
Honestly, I am disappointed with the team performance against our fierce rival.  This is the worst United result I ever seen.  I would rather see Derby defeat United > Liverpool defeat United.  Damn!  SAF put the wrong player in the line-up against Liverpool.  Anderson and Carrick partnership failed miserably on that day.  Why not Scholes and Carrick?  As for Tevez and Rooney, speechless on that day.  Why not Rooney and Berbatov?  Vidic, even more speechless on that day.  Is the worst nightmare I ever had in my entire life.  In my mind now is revenge revenge revenge!!!
*
ur comment seems on picking someone in the team to blame...it's not SAF fault, or anderson or tevez..it is the whole team's fault..and tactically wise, credit to liverpool..

Anderson and Carrick were in the lineup to contain the midfield threat of Gerrard and Co in hopes of cutting the supply line to Torres. Unfortunately both of them didn't live up to expectations, that's why keane is so sorely missed, he would have kept Gerrard in check. We really need a really good defensive midfielder to keep people like Gerrard, Kaka, etc in place or they will run havoc.

Scholes wouldn't have been able to do a thing to stop Gerrard.

We essentially still have 2 problems, a striker who can score goals regularly (RVN) and a really good leader / Defensive midfielder like Roy Keane. Something like Makelele/Gattuso/etc.

Tevez, Rooney and Berbatov have not come up with the goods on a regular basis.
*
hmm... well, whenever our team is not doing well, we ought to find some holes to point at eh?for me, the squad is good, i should say damn good..juz that the match against liverpool is our off day...Speaking about RVN, well, our attacking and goal scoring responsibilities have been spread to strikers, midfield and defenders too! it's not like last time when we only depends on RVN for goals...and, as you can see this recipe hd brought us far last season, winning double and endding chelsea dominance... so i keep faith with this team and SAF....and yeah, talking about leader, ryan giggs has the leadership qualities,,a silent leader indeed.
