u'll regret getting XPS M1330... the specs are old by today's standard...

i suggest Dell Studio 14, or HP dv2

well, quite a lot of ppl still think that XPS is the best that Dell offers... while in fact, it has already been replaced by (for now at least) Studio XPS and Alienware...

Hi guys please help me out in getting a new laptop.

Brand: Any brand will do except Acer, MSI, and Twinhead

Budget: My budget will be rm 3000 to rm 3500

Specs: 1. Must have intel processor
2. HDD of at least 200Gb or more
3. At least 2gb of RAM
4. Has a mid- range dedicated graphic card (ATI or Nvidia ONLY) for soft gaming
5. Has blue tooth and wifi function and a webcam if possible

Size : Not particular as long as it is mobile will do....

C2D??? very difficult...

either AMD Turion x2 or Intel Pentium Dual Core...

try Compaq CQ40... i suggest the model with AMD Turion x2 with Radeon HD 3450

bluetooth,
not heavy,
i usually use many application like AutocaD, photoshop,
want a fast laptop,
i prefer Intel processor more to Intel
i'm concern about graphic quality
i'm a crazy movie downloader(1 day 3movies)
strong wireless detector
webcam of course i want it!

4. Size: don't mind, maybe 14-15inch

weight not too heavy
mainly use for entertainment, assignment, light gaming.

i would prefer Compaq CQ40 instead... iirc AMD Turion x2 with HD3450 sells for abt rm1899

better overall performance than Inspiron 14...

Compaq CQ40, BenQ R47, Dell Studio 14, Gateway 1 model i forgot which one...

but i would prefer to stretch the budget a bit for a Dell Studio 15...

1. Brand: Acer Timeline or HP Probook, or maybe others
2. Budget: RM 3k
3. Specs: Not for gaming, but for 3D design...
4. Size: 14' monitor will do

i just want to know what's de best that i can get with this 3k,
brand is not an issue, wan de best performance and perhaps battery life as well.

Asus F81Se seems to be a good choice for the budget... or Dell Studio 14...

u may want to consider BenQ S42 as well...

2. At least 160 GB. More is better. Is it possible to get 250GB, 320 GB?

I thought CQ40 with 3450 is RM2099, RM1899 is the one with HD3200?

Also consider Acer 4730zg (or was it 4370zg?) at around RM2.1k
