i would go for HP dv2...

12" @ 1.8GHz with decent CPU and graphic performance (compared to Atom netbooks)

should be able to handle all the needs, can even play some games...

well, now u know 1... laugh.gif ex owner of BenQ S41...

it's good, i can gurantee... even better than Acer... and quality wise it's close to Asus... and they also offer laptops with very high performance:price ratio as well...

btw, it should be S42 instead of S43, my bad...

if u want long battery life with good performance, BenQ S42 is wat u re looking for... it has GeForce 9600M GT which is a decent GPU to use, and with hybrid graphic which allows u to put the 9600M GT into sleep mode and use the integrated Intel GMA to conserve battery life... S42 owners report and average of 4hrs usage with Intel GMA used...

hi, need some recommendations here,

budget below RM3000,14"/13" screen,if possible less thn 2kg.. for word/powerpoint assignment, surfing, flash games ( or low performance games ).. just that, and, err.. sometimes i play MMORPG Maple Story..

so, is it ok if i go for dell xps1330?
my little knowledge just dunno is it right for Intel® Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 as graphic card?
the RAM i thought to add for 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM

is it ok? or is there other suitable notebook? don't mind if other brand.
thnx..
