well, in that case, 13" looks good enuf for u...

Dell Inspiron 13, HP dv3, Compaq CQ35... all looks pretty good to me...

Yup, agree with astria, HP Dv3 would be a good choice...tested it and is all i can say...quite light some more ...you say that you'll bring the laptop outdoor so a nice 13" would be nice

That's quite a budget if you ask me, preferences is for online + gaming...well, i think both of the laptop that you mention surely won't satisfied your needs ..you bring your laptop outdoor often?? ...maybe you can as well check out Dell SXPS 16

Would like to ask again.. since I got recommendations from here to get U80V or S42..

It seems like I don't need such a high powered graphics card, only something with dedicated Ati or Nvidia graphics card would do.

But, I do need a very fast processor, more than 2.53 GHz would be nice.

So, I'll list down my new requirements:

1. CPU - Equal or Faster than 2.53 GHz
2. Size - 14" or 13"
3. Graphics - Entry level dedicated ATI (maybe 4330 or 4530?) or Nvidia
4. Good battery life
5. Sturdy and light to carry around
6. Price - Less than RM4k. The cheaper it is, the better

Lots of options would be nice. Need to recommend to my boss first.

as long as can dota it's fine for me. Prob is do I need a better GPU or processor or ram? Is m900 upgradable to 4gb? Is 2.1ghz and 2gb ram sufficient for Dota?

Its more than enough for DOTA....

Online gaming usually doesn't require that much of Graphic...even Intel 4500MHD can handle the jobs well i guess but still better opt with laptop that have dedicated graphic ....

you a girl?? maybe you want something stylist with the spec that ok for online games?? then VAIO is your choice...

but if you really want a laptop that cheap and also can do well in online games then take a look at Acer Aspire Timeline 4810TZ or Dell Adamo...

Yeah I'm a girl lol I dun go for stylo Milo tho I'd love to. I'd prefer performance > appearance I love vaio cause they've pink lol. I've just asked a few seller all m900 no more stock =(

..say dun go for stylo one but want pink .....then maybe you can consider BenQ S42/S57...this is also laptop that price:performance > appearance
