surely can use for torrenting & gaming...it will generate a lot of heat when play games..so better be sure that your laptop have good venting space & not in a too hot room..should be fine...use a table fan instead of notebook cooler..

while you playing games, can cook egg on the gpu unit ..gaming & cooking in the same time..just joking

nope...Studio 15 is the best within that budget..top-up a bit then maybe can get S42

yup..med-setting is good enough...

just like astria said, not even G50 can play crysis in high-setting...btw, finding a laptop that can play crysis in high-setting without any lag surely gonna cost you a BOMB

i was thinking the same thing...Sager 17" would have some that can play games with high-sets..

Not the same, maybe compaq quality is a bit lower than HP..HP surely better quality than compaq (an established company, known by consumers for years)

yup, me myself using S42 now, overheat problem?? i tot almost all laptops have overheat problem but for S42, not overheating till the point the laptop shutdown...max temp i've encounter is 9+C..but still the lappy runs quite smoothly...btw, get a cooler/table fan to overcome overheating problem..

1 thing i like about xoticpc is they actually give us a real battery life span lor...so can just see how long actually the laptop can last with battery...some site(official one) always bluffing about battery life..haiz~~
