QUOTE(Angel01 @ May 4 2009, 12:21 PM) hmm then how to cool down laptops? Laptops can be used for torrents and some gaming right? i assume the laptop will be hot. QUOTE(astria @ May 4 2009, 12:26 PM) ya, u can use for that... when gaming the laptop will be hot definetely, since that's a lot of work for it to do, but wouldn't be to the pt of overheat and shut down unless u fiddled with the clock... surely can use for torrenting & gaming...it will generate a lot of heat when play games..so better be sure that your laptop have good venting space & not in a too hot room..should be fine...use a table fan instead of notebook cooler.. while you playing games, can cook egg on the gpu unit ..gaming & cooking in the same time..just joking This post has been edited by miahahaha: May 4 2009, 12:31 PM

QUOTE(astria @ May 16 2009, 05:20 PM) nah, it's not a standard... the requirement is too high... to the pt that even desktop GPU also struggle... Crysis is a high standard of pro gaming...even desktop PC still can't play it in high-sets without any lag... Added on May 16, 2009, 5:24 pmQUOTE(Khewzx @ May 16 2009, 05:22 PM) Ya , i know , i mean that if your laptop/pc can play crysis , then can play any games in the market if your lappy can play crysis than other games shouldn't be a problem This post has been edited by miahahaha: May 16 2009, 05:24 PM

QUOTE(Khewzx @ May 16 2009, 05:34 PM) Actually Compaq's quality same like Hp ? Most of my friends told me that Hp quality is way better than Compaq , is it true ? But both of the are from same company wor ? Not the same, maybe compaq quality is a bit lower than HP..HP surely better quality than compaq (an established company, known by consumers for years) HP is the parent company of compaq...

QUOTE(-kytz- @ May 16 2009, 05:57 PM) I would definitely would love to buy from US especially if can DIY the specs and since they are much cheaper than in Malaysia. My friend's dv7 with 9600GT costs only US1.2k(around <RM4k) but in MY it costs 8-9k? Complications would be the warranty and servicing...Some websites in US do provide 'DIY-ing' specs like HP.What about other websites?Asus?Sager? Sager can, Asus i don't think so...yup, importing the lappy is cheaper, just like you said dv7 cost almost 9k here in malaysia but importing it online only cost less than 5k..maybe can get global warranty (hp), so can service it a service center in malaysia lor.. *lol, just read astria post, forgot about xoticpc.com... ..can modified models there too This post has been edited by miahahaha: May 16 2009, 06:02 PM
