CQ40-402AX - is this laptop okay? Anyone of you face any problem for this laptop?

Might purchase it during the hp warehouse sales.
I have acer laptop and I really have terrible experience with it, I will never look at acer anymore.

I need RECOMMENDATION, ASAP PLEASE!

1. Brand - Dun care, but must have good after service and easy to find spare parts (heard lots of people say No to Acer...?)
2. Budget - around RM 1600
3. Specs - Core 2 Duo.. mobile.. dowant celeron. Must have webcam. And WHITE CASING? Can arr..
4. Size - 14 / 15" screen

2. Budget. : around RM 1000 until RM3000
3. Specs. :at least 2.4 GHz
4. Size. : ANy

u can get a DELL STUDIO 15 for RM2999(P8600 2.4GHZ, 15.6" and an ATI 4570)

however if u can increase your budget a bit to about rm3.5..u can get a benq S42 with 9600GT

alternatively u can also get a compaq CQ40 for about 1.9k

its for architecture thing..

hmm.if not mistaken, Nvidia Quadro is more suitable for 3d design and as such...so i think you should look out for lappies with it?not sure which lappie has Quadro GC..sorry

If you do heavy gaming the system will overheat and hang.
If you think quality wise Compaq > Acer think again.

Macbook. You can get a macbook with 4k. Copy pasta from garage sales.

I would put Mac in first choice if i got the cash, too bad i only can afford Dell Studio.

I would personally suggest Dell. Although it doesn't have an intergrated GC but for female user, x3100 is enough. The processor is the key here, Intel seems go give me more assurance than AMD. Other than that, Dell after sales services is way better than Compaq, you don't even need to step out of your door to purchase Dell, buy online and they will send to your doorstep.
