im in the same boat as u blueheaven...im sure asus has the best performance but how bout the looks? looks like dv3611 has the upper hand here....i dun really like the design of asus, plus i din use asus laptop before, so i dunno whether the quality is trustable or not...

might as well consider studio 15 for better proc...but the big ass size turns me down...

wan to ask btw, nw purchase asus laptop at lowyat plaza still can get 2 yr extra warranty?

imho..

between Asus and Acer, i would choose Asus because of the better quality and warranty, so out goes Acer

between Asus and Dell, the Rm200 extra u get:
1) Better CPU
2) Vista HP instead of Vista HB
3) larger HDD
4) double the RAM
5) larger monitor
6) 1 yr less of int'l warranty

if warranty is not priority, i would choose Dell...

if f81se compare to M300-S411, f81se clearly has the upper hand in terms of performance, but toshiba has more solid build + harman kardon speaker, n i like the design more....

just 1 question, if play games like L4D, crysis eg, 3470 vs 4570 makes a big difference? cos 1 is class 2 n 1 is class 3

currently using BenQ's S41, besides the GPU problem (8600M GS), which isn't BenQ's fault anyway, i am very satisfied with it... never break down or anything for the past 1.5yr...

go to the BenQ Performance Thread to ask if u want to know more or gather more opinions...

and wat i like BenQ best is that it's price-performance ratio is even higher than Asus and Acer, while offering quality products...

as for the price, last i hear is abt RM2.3k, comes with C2D T6600 and 9300M GS...
