Depends... i can get RM100 phone bills off from Company. So ivalue RM100 is better for me, becuz i can get phone for RM1900. but then need to pay for SMS

u can check the data usage in iphone.just need reset the statistics every month if u wan to know ur usage per month

inline with the fact that malaysia is still not in the country list in apple website, does this means that maxis is still negotiating with apple..???

same here..my monthly usage bout 70 on calls n 50 on sms...so i jus wana a plan wit 50/50 talk+sms..sadly atm nothin like dat..

personally i feel the 6mths plan not dat worth it..we are payin for an unsubsidised iphone n we're stil bound to a contract..i find dat a rip off.. neway atleast we haf official support. mayb who knows, apple msia might repair our "international" phones for a fee..

yup. so, this iPhone will be obsolete in three months or so and you will be contracted for 6/12/24 mths with maxis

tricky plan there,for me i rather buy singtel sets with no contract binding.
and 1 more thing,there are posibility new iphone coming out.if it really does come out, people that subscribe the maxis plan will be piss because waste of money if sell the iphone 3g and get new 1,+u get bind by the contract,this sucks.hahah

for all u kno, maxis might haf jus nego wit apple to take excess stocks from singapore..thus mayb we're jus an extra avenue to sell iphone from singapore..so any waranty n such needs to be dealt in singapore.. thus malaysia is not really involved wit Apple USA's marketing strategy?its jus a theory..lol.

Is Maxis getting the sets directly from Apple USA or are they importing "unsold" stocks from Singtel ?

Are they using this as a test platform to determine how much they can make money and to show apple that "ey look you can make some bucks from malaysians"


Maxis will go all out to promote iPhone and try to get people to buy the iPhone. People do get carried away with iPhone and such. Oh yeah , plus I've pre-registered , lets just wait and see

No one knows whether the stock is from where. But once someone got hold of an official unit from Maxis we can check the phone part numbers at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1937 to confirm the origin of the phone.

I think this is not part of the plan listed in APPLE, what's why. Have a funny feeling about the launching here in Msia. LOL, mostly like we are the only Country do this and so called special way to bring in iphone.

At least Indonesia etc are officially listed in "Coming soon" in apple website!
