Eh in mac when u set change wallpaper every 5 sec..
Does it increase CPU usage or ram that heat up ur com?

i dont think,that'd would significantly change anything drastically like from 50 C to 70C.

i think theres a guy selling it in garagesales and based on metalgear's analysis it doesnt drastically decrease heat on its own.

I just received the thermapak for the GS seller yesterday..
It does make a difference lol..
Now i see my temp is always stable and my fan RPM is low also..
I can put it on my lap or on the sofa or on the bed and my temp is like 48-50 degrees..

^Good to hear that. Although my simple test with CPUTest didn't show any obvious difference, the outer aluminium body already feels cooler to the touch.

btw, nimrod323, it's not metalgear, it's metalzone haha. laugh.gif

this thermapak sounds cool. i think i should get it. rite now my alu macbook gets hot easily. and i think the normal cooling pad doesnt really work.

how abt the GIGABYTE laptop cooler? you can specifically place the fan where you want it to b. would that work? hmm.gif
