I just bought my MacBook just 2 month ago. While I at home, I will take out the battery. I on my MacBook about 2 hours, I feel that on my left feel very hot. I feel uncomfortable with it. The hot temperature which on the tracpad left which where the magsafe connected. Is very HOT. Do u guys encounter the same problem? If have can share what happen?

The temperature of the side where you connect your magsafe is tend to be higher that's pretty normal, but you sound like yours is freaking hot. Do you use coolerpad ? Or SMC fan control? It helps a lot boss If you do hv both of them then may b you should send it for a check

TS: usually the first batch of apple notebook got this "hot" issue one. Do check your software update regularly to resolve the "hot" issue. Otherwise please send it for a check like chingwooi said.

If you are running Flash Apps, Games or Heavy programs, the Alu macbook hits 80c, its normal. I have a MBA and Macbook Alu 2.4 at home, all are experiencing heat issues. Laptop cooler doesn't help much. since the entire alu body acts as an heatsink, best used under Air Conditioned environment, it will help abit.
And yes, the top left part can be used to warm up my coffee.

No heat issue for me, fan running at 2k rpm on normal use. Never remove battery and just run purely on AC power. Laptop is different from desktop. The Battery do act as a buffer in case AC voltage spike or else. CPU performance will be regulated and not performing at optimize output when Battery is removed. Read this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2332If you really think removing battery is good when connecting AC power, then why did Apple engineers spend so much time scratching their head on designing the new 17inch MBP non-removable battery? So when your battery is spoiled, or you want to upgrade the ram, u have to pay service charge at apple service centres after warranty expires? apple spare/upgrade parts are kinda overpriced. that's the only reason i can think of. Sorry. the terminalogy to fit in a bigger battery by removing the latches isn't that hard to figure out when apple first launched the PowerBook 17". I'm thinking along the lines of having a nightmare removing all these different sized screws, placing them carefully lined up...
then a great big gust of wind blows in....

A lot of end-users always think that they are more genius than R&D engineer, and thus underestimate the complexity of microprocessor and electronics.
In the end they end up f*cking up their products and in return blame manufacturer for inconsistent build quality, reliability issue, overpriced after-warranty service, blablabla.
Doesn't only apply to Mac users, just anything else. Personally I do know some guys who always encounter with freeze windows, virus-affected PC, crashed HDD, much more often than other people.
And what not. May the Mac always be with you.

Yea, quite a normal phenomenon in my MacBook white when i played game like DOT.A or ran plenty of apps simultaneously. Anyway, the fan speed should slow down after you closed those apps and the lappy has cooled down.

SMC fan control? It doesn't help to make your fan faster. It just allow you to control the speed of your fan.
