supose aFTER THE TURN OFF, u phone will start to install the new firmware.
i tried several time also.
i am VIsta user, i found it was wmplayer.exe problem so use task manager to terminateit after connect omnia, then install updater.
i suceed.

i finally succeed in updating my omnia.. : i wait until 15 min after it turn off n notin' happen so i tried to turn it back on n wallah... it's starting to downloading the update..i guess for my case i need to turn it on manually...anyway thanx for all your help guys...

tahoma is standard fonts la..
use other than tahoma..
im using "Abscissa" fonts..
then it will automatically restart ur device..

Actually can, because u need to use those font support chinese like Ming Liu or sunfone.

However u can also use other stylr, but u need put one extra chinese font in, and do some reg edit. I done it before when I use M2D.
Hard to explain the reg edit, try googling view chinese in M2D, u will find it.

The is no provision in WM to close an application with the X. It will only minimize. You need a third party program, like HandySwitcher, to close it with the X. Of course Task Manager can close it.

ooo... like that,
some one told me that WM6.1 can kill application by "X",
and last time my HTC Touch can direct kill application by "X" also,
so i thought that is integrated function d.

nvm, luckily i found that by sliding your finger from the bottom bar upward 2cm
can direct open the "task switcher" d. haha, quite convenience.

those photo snap by my Omnia, color seem like wash out, when using "SCN" mode,
must use "fall color" mode in order a reduce noise and get nicer color,
but your hand must be very steady, else will get blur image.

until now i still haven't successfully set up my GPRS, wifi setting, GPS, .... ...
although already follow the guideline that posted here long time ago, so sad.
quite busy recently, later free only go to explore it lar...

( wan to install Iphone theme, but too complicated d, no time to do so, easier method? )

For GPRS you can go to the internet, eg Maxis, and configure your GPRS/3G settings.
For WiFi, ensure that the Data Encryption at your device matches that of the wifi modem you are trying to connect. The Data Encryption differs for different modem.
For GPS, it is a lo...............ng and tedious process to get it working.
