For some reasons, some applications will be installed to main memory no matter what storage you choose. One of them is S2U2, it needs to be in the main memory to run properly.
Even that some programs can be installed into My Storage or Storage Card, their registries and shortcut will be in the main memory, so some space will still be used up.

Internet cache, histories and cookies are also some of the items which occupied spaces. Go to page 1 of this thread and follow the link of Tips for Omnia, for a method to move your Temporary Internet Files to your Storage or Card. There are many tips to reclaim spaces too.

The best solution is to flash to custom roms, which excluded some programs that you don't use.

Spend more time on first 4 posts of page 1 and have fun with your Omnia. You will be surprise of what you can learn from there.

And regarding Garmin MXT, please read 2 posts before the one you quoted. It's not free. So far, there's no free navigating softwares. I've post the installation guides just to let ppl know that Garmin MXT will work on our Omnias. No matter what, I still advise to support Garmin (or mapking, if you like it better).
Pay for the software if you find it useful, developers need to eat too.

hai..i notice somthing weird wit mu omnia...when i using radio it will stop after i go to the menu or any other application...and the word ex. fly fm become like #$y fm or something like that....beside my screen seem abit not senstive at certain part especially when in pnone book mode i got problem to choose H - Q...i notice my screen not alight..i need to set it abit left

from modaco, some ppl have find that application install in my storage are slower then one installed in good memory cards. So better install app in memory cards and leave my storage for application.

could u clarify that statement....

fastest = my device/main memory
2nd = good memory card
3rd = my storage

so for essential application that need fast response install in main memory. For other application install in memory card and for data save in my storage

oh yea then i forgot about you guy's inbuilt storage.

well, some programs that alter today screen MUST be installed in main memory so cant be help. make sure u check your My Documents and stuff after u active sync, its also possible u sync some files into your My Documents by mistake

finally my garmin work.and i had install s2u2,spbmobileshell.cleantemp,throttlestorage.i find out the m2d got problem install to my omnia,den i delete it.actually i like the m2d theme than spbmobileshell,but m2d consume alot of memory.

have a look at home2, for me its much better then m2d for its stability and ease of installation. Free version available. http://community.pointui.com/

i just found out SRS WOW HD is not compatible with winmo6.5...causing winmo6.5 crash.but it was a very nice software with winmo6.1

hi guys, i'm using sector's SPB mobile rom, anyone using this? I have some minor problem here, i normally dont off my phone (24/7), the problem is after 2 or 3 days, the phone hangs, hangs as in the keypad lock doesnt unlock, meaning that when u lock yur keypad, the back light will go alil bit dimmer, when u unlock it it will go bright. But in my case, when i unlock the backlight doesnt go brighter, but i can see the screen, the very next moment, nothing seems to be working, I have to take off the battery and "re-ON" the phone...

Any Advice on this? Reflash?

there is no way to close the SPB mobile shell
unless u do one of these

a) kill the process using Task Manager.
(default task manager cannot do it. Need to install 3rd party apps like Fdcsoft Task Manager, http://www.dotfred.net/TaskMgr.htm)

or

b) to prevent auto startup, go to my device\windows\startUp
delete SPB Mobile Shell shortcut link. THen soft reset ur device.
But u still can launch SPB Mobile Shell later from the programs menu.

hi..i'm new omnia user here...using 16gb white color sg set...
I've upgrade my rom to DZIA5...but i can't update my weather n application widget now...it shows cannot connect to internet although i've connect thru wireless modem connection...

It happened when i've changed the settings of my 3G n MMS as shown from the first page of this thread...is it the setting's problem?

there is no problem with the 3g setting post at the 1st page
