Don't take it that way. You DON'T have to EXACTLY bench that way. What Dave is trying to imply in that short video is to show how important a good tight setup is. To get a leg drive isn't an overnight thing. You need to bench seriously for quite sometime to achieve SOME leg drive. Not all federations allow the foot to be in such of a position though. The importance of a setup applies to your deadlift and squats as well. This is vital if you want to be a competitive powerlifter. There are lots of camps on training out there. I'd say that 99.9% trainees I see in the gym have a horrible deadlift and squat setup. cool2.gif

I saw that video awhile ago and I must say that after giving it a try, it really has helped in my benching. I still hate benching, though, but not as much thanks to that video.
