cooler master extreme power 550w is not real power PSU..

which the continuous power is only around 460w if im not mistaken..

while silverstone st56f 560w...is 560w continuous power...same goes with the corsair 550w..550w real power... laugh.gif

coolermaster is just too good in promoting and advertising their products. the last time I used CM M620 620W to power CF 4850, and it crashed alot of my games or get vpu recovery. after switching to Silverstone 650W, problem solved. and now it's powering my GTX 295 flawlessly. and can OC some more.

coolermaster is cheap, that's why people choose coolermaster. the only good coolermaster psu is the real power pro 850/1000W or the extreme power 650W. Better choose silverstone / corsair / FSP / PC Power & Cooling rclxms.gif

Guhh..

So which one would you guise recommend if i were to get a 9800GTX+/GTS 250?

Please don't overkill. Something just enough for the GC to run smoothly would suffice. On a strict budget here. sad.gif

Silverstone strider ST56F then....my fren use CM extreme power 550w keep crashing on his 9800gtx+ AMP! Edition....

but i think CM extreme power 550w can handle GTS250...because if im not mistaken it use less power and only 1 pin PCI-E compare to 9800gtx+...

my stock cooler fan at 90% still hardly hear anythg, maybe bcoz my case fan noise cover it up.but raise it up to 100% and the roaring can be heard.

installed the beta 185.66 driver to try out the new feature called ambient occlusion which nvidia claims to add more realism to supported games.i only tried it on my dmc4 dx10 with on and off.cant see any diff i must say,but with it on the performance degrades a lot
