assumes that 500W gives 75% of efficiency , and assume that 9800GTX+ take 280W during peak ,
most you can give the psu load 80% of it , so 400W supply with 75% efficiency , only 300W.
I think you should buy a better power supply like Silver Stone Strider ST56F , erm... CM Real Power better than extreme power series.
just my assumption. if anything wrong please correct ya icon_rolleyes.gif

Depends on games. Microstuttering almost doesn't exist for games above 70fps.
Most monitors comes with a refresh rate of 60 or 70Hz, meaning u would need 70 or 80fps to eliminate microstuttering

No matter how high your FPS still got micro stuttering on Nvidia 9800GX2 and GTX295.

on 3D Mark 06 the flying ship chasing by Dragon..when the Dragon jumping cross the airship part the micro suttering is most high for me..even the FPS i got is 1xx above also feel the sudden stop for 1 sec

SLI definitely has better performance than single gc

Micro stuttering happen because using dual GC, using one GC of course, won't cause this problem.
