how much its continuous power? i afraid if can also...24/7 peak will make ur psu blow...tat the worst part...

i have tried few hours, most games now no problem, only a few games has problem bcoz of game bug i have searched thru google

as long as ur psu continuous power exceed 330w, i think ur psu should be able run gtx 260

if it can produce at least 450W continuous power, then it's still fine. too bad there isn't any reviews for vantec ion psu

its actually a GTS 250 box coz when u read all the 'advertisement' at the back it mention GTS 250 no less than 5 times.

one thing bout the card is that it is frikkin huge.
nearly made me thinking of running my rig naked when i 1st saw it out of the box.

how was the performance of OC capability?

the fan is a dissapointment for me.

its just a few degree celcius better than stock plus anything over 55% speed will turn ur rig into a bee farm.

using old school CM mystique 632
OC duno coz i still using stock setting and it's enough for my usage

but better thn my ex-Ref cooler 4870 (i mean the noise lol)

its stock speed is more than enough for my gaming fix.

and i just game at 1680x1050 max anyway so its more than enough and if u require more power,the card can do 700 core and 1200 memory easily.

same here the gc too long for my casing
the 40% fan speed is enuf for me

GTX series have long length but it can fit most standard casing
if GX2 series then difference story..

yes it can fit most casing but if u already use all the hdd rail then its a tight fit.
if u still got a few rail left then u can move ur harddrive to compensate for the lack of space.

but luckily the PCIE power input is in the side if its in the back of the card then ur screwed.

I can still remember Quadro Card can never play a fool in your casing...

My Quadro ngam ngam fit after I take off the stabilizer.

It is a freaking 38cm card with stabilizer.

EDIT: And again, it is good that PCI-e is at the side.

i also just upgraded from 8800gt to galaxy gtx 260+ today...mine is with reference cooler though..my idling temp is around 57c...yours is higher probably because your room or case temperature is higher than mine....btw i am running on a 425watt dell PSU....you dont need uber PSU power to run this card

i cant hear it during idle....even when stress testing with 3d mark vantage only can hear a bit of the fan so i can say is very silent compared to my noisy 8800gt.....i bought it for RM740 from zhen wei....my brand is galaxy

ref cooler spice it up to 100% and u can hear the roaring loud and clear

bring it down to 90% and its silent.strange huh

really..........makes me wanna change my custom cooler for reference la macam ni.
