any recommendation on HDMI input at least 22" monitor? thanks

for 22" u can get BenQ T2200HD, or E2200HD..
u can google for specs and review, and check pricelists for the prices of both..

Hey guys, didn't post much yesterday coz' my exam is over and I'm been going to Lowyat Plaza in search for H233H demo. Went to All-IT but they didn't demo the H233H, instead they demo Samsung and another model for Acer P24xx I think.

Anyway from the comment I got so far I guess I'll opt for H233H as the price is cheaper.

@logit85
I think ViewSonic VX2433WM might be your choice.

Edit: From what I saw yesterday I think glossy screen is definitely better when viewing movie. I wonder is it good for gaming?

just tested with my ps3. very satisfied with the monitor =D

regarding the question on the aspect, since i output through HDMI, so it's 1080p, fill the whole screen nicely.. 1920x1080.. so if play 4:3 videos in ps3, like the computer, the ps3 will display it properly with black bars.

if you really want to test the Aspect/Full setting, then i'll use my tvbox, using ps2.. or normal dvd player to see the result. lol..

EDIT: tested with ps2. unable to post, pictures posting limit reached. wait till another fella reply then i post.

I know. But no H233H demo. The unit is really heavy, I couldn't carry it all the way from Lowyat to my U. So I guess the best bet is via courier.

I see. Lazy to go again. BTW is the glossy version of H233H better for gaming, or non-glossy?

this one hard to tell, depends on each individual preference.

But after 3 days using this LCD h233h, i'm used to the glossy one. I can say sometimes it's distracting to see your self like a mirror but sometimes look at the sharpness and clarity the glossy can give. so i can say all is up to you and see whether you can adapt to it or not.

That's common for me. I guess it's better for us (customer) to know what to look for when wanted to buy something, especially when it comes to electronic devices to avoid scam.

yay another way to connect.

The PS3 comes with a standard AV cable, just like the PS2 does. You'll use that in addition to the HDMI cable. In the PS3 setup, you'll choose HDMI for video and component cables for audio. If yous speakers have an input jack for an audio source, you can connect the red and white cables to an RCA adapter and plug it in.

That's my point exactly, in the previous post that is. Guess you're pretty satisfied eh? Guess I'll place my order next week, as I'm only able to go home by that time...

Now is pretty boring.
