How come it is so difficult to apply for PR here?
And my company did not want to sponsor me. |

Balik kampung? I rather not. That is like the last option.
Dem...should have kept a good relationship with my HR manager. Anyway I will still apply PR independently although it is really difficult. Should have applied last year when it was less strict. |

QUOTE(plplpl @ Oct 3 2011, 07:15 PM) Essentially to sponsor a worker, a company needs to pay you the wage of a local, prove that they can't find any other local to do it, prove that you can meet standards and that your quals are of Australian standard, fill out a shitload of documentation and set a percentage of what they spend on you to be paid into a fund to train locals. The only companies that do sponsorship these days are mining and OnG. Even for that they only sponsor very sought after staff like engies, science people and so forth. |

Lol why didn't you apply it as soon as you can? The sooner you apply the better.
But oh well, good luck. If you've got 1 yr work experience in the field you studied and if you're on sol list and pass ielts. Shud have enough points what. |

But if I apply PR independently, will I get the PR for sure if I pass the points system? Or is it still subjected to immigration's decision?

If you have enough ppints, half the battle is won. If you have a good immigration agent, sure win. My immi agent approval level is almost 100% and fast. Less than 6 months.

QUOTE(MeruChan @ Oct 3 2011, 07:28 PM) Lol why didn't you apply it as soon as you can? The sooner you apply the better. The problem is I am working in O&G and it is very hard to match the job description to what I studied. As well as linking to the occupations in SOL list. But oh well, good luck. If you've got 1 yr work experience in the field you studied and if you're on sol list and pass ielts. Shud have enough points what. I did not know I can apply PR last time as people were telling me that I had to wait 2 years before applying for PR. And this is not true at all. I got Singapore PR so easily but this is really difficult. No confidence at all. |
