If you have enough ppints, half the battle is won. If you have a good immigration agent, sure win. My immi agent approval level is almost 100% and fast. Less than 6 months.
*
Half the battle? Means 50% chance? It costs $3k just for the admin fees.

You sure less than 6 months? That is almost impossible. Company sponsored is about 3 months and if you apply independently should be at least 1-2 years and it costs about 4k.

How much does your agent costs? Any contact details? Or discounted price? hehe

Well it's sort of yor fault for listening to 'people' than verifying what you heard yourself. You are the one applying pr, you should have done your part of research and should know it well. And you could have visited an agent for professional advice. Since what you said is so vague, you should visit an agent and let
Him assess your case. Which state are you in?

My agent is really really pro. If I pass ielts and have enough points I would have gotten my pr already.

I got my TR in less than 2 months. My workmate got her pr less than 6 months.

Yes, I admit I should have done some research earlier. But many people told me the same thing therefore I got 'tricked' and did not suspect it was wrong info.

I am in South Australia. I do not want to use agent as it will costs me another 4k. But if you say your agent's rate of success is almost 100% then maybe I will consider.

It's more than that. Assessment authority, visa medicals, IELTS exams, certification stamps, police clearance and on so your will be around 4k+ everything.

6 months on-shore. Independent now waiting period 2 years.

No need immi agent, just go immi website and borrow download migration act PDF file. I did my friend's one, she got hers in 3 months and I certified all the docs. I did it for free somemore.

My agent is in Brisbane. His price is $1800. I don't think there's anyone who charges 4k for pr. My agent is by far the most expensive usually around 1.2-1.5 k. Of course that is excluding $2575 pr application fee and health checks.

Erm...contact details? Or you not willing to share with me?

I was told 4k by the agents in SA. I asked two different agents.

I generally do these favours for something in return other than money, that's how I landed my current job laugh.gif

lol, not much in that case.

The last person I did it for got me letter of recommendation from a senior engineer in a BHP Mitsubishi Alliance mine and a cover story haha, a bunch of good calls to my boss and so forth.

Before that another person turned down a job offer and passed it on to me in return, that's how I got my current OnG gig.

One of the first ones gave me insider info which I used for share trading biggrin.gif

I only take money as a last resort, I'm more interested in contacts, opportunities, insider knowledge and so forth.

Extend by getting a TR, apply for a bridging B (Just give medical proof your mother is sick or something), fly back to Malaysia and take IELTS there because the lacist omputeh will never let you pass trust me. Then just put in a new application for PR, apply for medicare, kill off your TR and wait.

It ain't rocket science. Once you know the structure of how they mark the test and the stuff they look out for it's a piece of pie. Augment a few other simple tricks and it's easy to get past.

I'd personally offer my hand in marriage for money haha because I want a new LeCroy/Agilent scope but then MayAnne will hate me for life sad.gif

I already have my housemate's wife cleaning up and cooking lol.

Try to extend your TR lah, then you can work from there. There's surely some loophole, somewhere. I can't think of one right now because I have this splitting headache from work rclxub.gif

almost 100%?? lol
they have some relationship with immi(Malaysia wannabe? tongue.gif )?

btw, me and my partner still waiting for TR to be approved too..6 months and still waiting because her occupation is not in priority list..
they still processing April 2010 application for non-priority but that is good cause we can stay even longer..

bad thing is her occupation not listed in SOL anymore(except state and regional nominated) so its kinda hard for us to get PR in future.

should enjoy earning AUD for now and put PR aside
