Seemingly confirming rumors that the newest game in BioWare's trilogy of role-playing shooter games is to be officially announced tomorrow at the Spike Video Game Awards, a listing for Mass Effect 3 was just spotted and subsequently pulled from the EA Store.
Joystiq was quick enough to grab screenshots depicting PC, 360, and PS3 versions of the game, all priced at $59.95. As well, there was a brief description of the game, which follows:
Earth is burning. Striking from beyond known space, a race of terrifying machines have begun their destruction of the human race. As Commander Shepard, an Alliance Marine, your only hope for saving mankind is to rally the civilizations of the galaxy and launch one final mission to take back the Earth.
No release date information was to be seen, but hopefully the proper reveal will include a ballpark window, at the very least.
Just completed Lair of the Shadow Broker, really a great addition to the game. Played with my Adept Shepard romanced Ash in ME1. Need to try with my Soldier Shepard romanced Liara later.
