In SocialNet, people are exchanging the codes for other codes.
Sucks for us for not getting other bonus stuff sad.gif

I wouldn't want to give away my codes tongue.gif. Actually we're lucky. I was in tsb today and they still had nicely wrapped CEs for sale while in other countries they preorder months early otherwise the CEs sell out and they miss out.

Just read Mass Effect Redemption #2.

I think it follows Bioware canon sad.gif
Cause in #2, I can see pink battle suit.

EDIT: Edited sentences, damn colours made Liara looks human.
*
Yeah, I read it last night. I wonder how she saw Shepard die... I thought his helmet was breached right after he was spaced. By then the pods should have evacuated already right. I dunno, maybe I'm getting mixed up.

You must have some inchy fingers to press the left mouse button right? hehe...

I do... honestly, I take almost every Renegade interrupt just to see what happens. My Paragon Shepard headbutted a krogan, took down a merc leader then shot a fuel canister and shot the head off a mech among other things.

About Redemption #2, I don't think it's legal to do what I did. If it's possible to find it locally, maybe I'll get a copy to complement my #1 from the CE.

Muahahaha. Damn funny dialogue during the Samara mission. Not sure about the exact words.

Shepard (to a detective) : Your superiors are sending you to certain death for no good reasons. You have a right to disobey.
Archangel : We have a right to disobey suicidal orders? Why wasn't I told?
Thane : That's about twice a day.
Shepard : !!!!

Legion dances while Mordin sings tongue.gif. Extremely funny to see him sing.

haha, yea that part was really funny, the dialogue was alil different for me. Miranda and thane was with me at that time.

Archangel + Thane is godly. I was tag-team sniping with Thane, both of us using the Viper sniper rifle (sucks imo). 3 sniper rifles kills everything plus Thane is awesome with a smg.

Added on February 7, 2010, 6:19 pmA big ROFL at Shepard threatening Elias Kelham.

Shepard : 'If you don't tell me what I want I'll cut your balls off and sell them to a krogan!'

Eee... Samara's loyalty mission is so intense. I felt so weird seeing Shepard without his weapons and armor. Thane's is cool too with the catwalk stalking thing and the whole chase alongside the awesome dialogue especially during the interrogation.

For me the best to the worst of the loyalty quests :

Thane
Tali
Archangel
Samara
Jack
Miranda
Mordin
Jacob

But it's hard to choose like between Samara and Archangel or Thane and Tali. All are awesome.

haha, it's not really that, I try my best to choose the bottom dialogue as much as possible. But in some situations renegade choices means you won't be getting some quest. Example, Jahleed in C-Sec wards asked for your assistance, paragon answer = yes, renegade answer = no; there is no option for you to accept the quest in a rude/renegade manner.
*
The way I played ME1 is mainly Paragon but I choose Renegade if it's sarcastic or fits the situation better.

ME2 I prefer more Renegade action although my Paragon bar is pretty full. Even Paragon options are aggressive sometimes. I take almost every interrupt too.

Nassana Dantius : What the hell do you want?
Shepard : Maybe I just missed you.
Nassana Dantius : Screw you, Shepard!

Ahhh just finished the game and DAMN IT. Mordin died.

My team was as follows :

I guess I should have taken Mordin along as I heard he's a sucker for dying but Miranda and Grunt totally decimated those Collectors as well as that annoying Harbinger. I took the sniper role with my Viper (say what you like about the damage, awesome for putting many rounds in someone's head under Adrenaline Rush), Miranda using the Tempest and Grunt on the Claymore. I had Ammo-Piercing rounds.

Last fight was seriously anticlimatic. The good parts was everything that didn't involve shooting. Honestly it reminded me of Dragon Age's ending. Last enemy was pathetic but I wish I brought a missile launcher. Fun telling the Illusive Man to stick it though.

Now... what to do next tongue.gif.

Major spoilers :

I have a 'we're so screwed' feeling for ME3 too biggrin.gif but I can't wait for it.

happy.gif you don't have to poke every spoiler tag you know haha.

I forgot to mention Archangel got shot in the gut. I almost had a heart attack when Shepard patted him on the shoulder and smiled. Then Miranda almost died. I dunno, I never liked her much. Too much of a cheerleader like Jack always says.

Next up for me is replaying the ending with different people. I want Mordin to live cry.gif I miss talking to that guy.

I am also trying to read it too much too Cheese, havent buy it yet  tongue.gif

Just passing by once in a while to see how are the feelings of people about it, so far seems pretty good!

To buy or to wait for some sales in the future..... this is the question.... but I got already so many games.... hummmmm >_<
*
It's more enjoyable if played after ME1. Better if a few days apart.

Say how do I go about killing Shepard? I want to see the ending just for fun and no I don't mind shooting Collectors in the head over and over again.

The Cerberus assault armor looks like Jacob's armor on steroids, nothing special. What I want is the shotgun drool.gif Tali + that = win

I don't even use the Terminus armor thanks to the helmet. Gaww BioWare!

And... operation kill Shepard = fail. I did find out how pwnage Legion with his Widow sniper rifle is though. I should have taken that instead of the Revenant cry.gif

Yep, have to choose the right man for the job.

Same, I didn't equip any other armors besides N7 cause I wanted to see Shepards expression during conversations. The bonus armor are just there for subsequent replays; the Collector's armor looks really evil in dark areas, perfect for a renegade character.

The expressions are much better in this game too. Terminus armor is really badass sad.gif.

ME2 combat > ME combat. However, ME2 combat is unbalanced I believe even Christina Norman admits it in the forum. Hoping for a patch in the future to fix it. You do get some bonus for importing a lvl 60 character, though the only bonus that I'm looking forward is the lvl 5 starting bonus so that It makes playing Insanity mode ezier and allows you to reach max lvl of 30 in ME2 in 1 playthough. I like it that you can reload your weapons instate of waiting for the weapon to cooldown; it as if you are playing on infinite ammo cheat.

There is also another reason for me to replay ME. You gotta have a basic frame for your character that will affect the events and plot in ME2 and ME3. Without a core understanding of the story from ME, you definitely do not have the sense of attachment to your character and knowing the consequences for every decisions you make in ME and ME2 will ultimately affect the story in ME3. Imagine you made a mistake in ME, and it comes back to haunt you in ME3; I'm sure by the time you are half-way through ME3 you will be cursing yourself for making that mistake in ME.

I just pray that by letting the council die in ME will not be a regretful decision that would haunt me in ME3 cause:

It's a trilogy and anyone missing out on ANY part will be sad. I know there will be some people playing ME3 without ME1 and ME2.

I'm kinda attached to my Shepard. My same character through 30 hours of ME1 and 40 hours of ME2. Luckily I didn't have to see him die. Youtube ftw.

Although it has no gameplay effects, I didn't like the default ME1 outcome. Basically the default Shepard killed off the characters I liked and romanced that certain beyotch. Good thing I found my old lv59 savegame in a pendrive. Also, the rich achievement only gave you enough credits in ME2 to buy one stupid upgrade... did my wealth get hijacked by nigerian scammers and feng shui masters? zzz

They give a sucky 'canon' so people who played the first game are rewarded in a sense. I guess it's also a marketing strategy, people will buy ME1 (unless they're pirates) in the end. Hey, what's so bad about Ash blink.gif

I ported my lvl 50 guy over and had a ton of nice credits in the beginning. I don't know about you but I bought a couple of upgrades for my assault rifle immediately even before I got Mordin.

I watched the bonus disc just now and I saw a few scenes of ME1. The Wrex scene and some Noveria and wow... I don't want to touch ME1 if possible. ME2 has better graphics and atmosphere, tighter shooting, better quests, better dialogue, better voice acting, etc.

Only thing ME1 does right is story which has more depth than ME2's. But then again, ME1 is the beginning, ME2 is the climax (and revelation) and the bridge and ME3 is the resolution.

And to nitpick a bit on ME1's inventory system and ME2's lack thereof. ME1 has more guns and you get to slot upgrades in to suit the situation. I like being able to switch upgrades during battles. The guns lack variety except a stat boost and looks and there are only two models per gun.

ME2 has no inventory which is good and bad. Good being I don't need to fiddle about with omnigel (-shudder-). Bad being there goes rewards for exploring every nook and cranny although the game makes up for it somewhat with upgrades you can find but those aren't random.

But the guns, people fail to realize that the guns in ME2 are vastly different. For example, the first assault rifle has high recoil but more ammo and fully auto fire. The second assault rifle is three burst but is more accurate and great for using Adrenaline Rush with to pick people off. The first sniper rifle is semiauto but high damage while the second has fast rate of fire but low damage.

It is sad only two weapons exist per class though. Three if you count the Collector mission weapons and the geth rifle you can get if you start a new game +. I'm a stickler for guns but no point also if they have 2 models and 100 recolours.

huhu just bought the game yesterday CE. Install it and the game is superb so far I havent yet encounter any technical problems. Controller didnt jam, no glitch so far so good. *finger cross*
*
Your Steelbook case alright? Mine has a small paint chip on top of the front half with Shepard so I can see the metal. Also give the CE bonus disc a watch. No spoilers if you've been following all the vids from their website.
