just got some update at digi website. It's a 3G speed.
there are now available for Digi Postpaid for Internet Unlimited at Promo RM48. Is mean your same postpaid sim can apply for Internet Unlimited at RM48 ( normal price RM58 )

Monthly : Quota 3GB
Likely average speed : 700kbps
Upload : 200kbps
After 3GB - no extra charge but it will limit your speed.

This apply for 3G phone, but i think it will work for modem as well.

For prepaid user :
max charge RM5 /day
daily usage limit - 100MB
after 100MB - no extra charge but will limit your speed.

My experience is when i'm using Digi Broadband, at my office can do not have broadband coverage, but i'm still able to use it as 3G speed. That's mean when you are out of broadband coverage, but if under 3G coverage, you still able to get 3G speed.
You might check the 3G coverage. ( The website now let's us press the coverage type to check now )

DiGi gives you a public IP address. So you may host applications such as websites, etc.

digi today very bad... cant load pages. need to refreshseveral times!..
maybe their line still bz...

today my digi also down! they said becoz digi 3G phone jz launched only, many ppl testing

at my place...seems normal

finally digi open 3g (called 3gturbo) for postpaid users so does this mean current edge user can upgrade to this package?

its not possible before if we want to upgrade from edge to the broadband package like discover,explore and xtreme

any insights?

even worst than maxis after 3gb!.... can browse on EDGE @ 50kbps only.. when set to WCDMA, can connect but cant browse at all!....

juz got my DiGi Internet Unlimited RM48 today

rm280 for the CSL 3.5G modem
seems like expensive ............ no 3G in ipoh also .....
desperately need internet ....tats y

me just got 50kbps only wooooo. use GSM only setting.... if use WCDMA setting, can connect but cant browse!

DIGI EDGE maximum speed is 236.8 kbps.
If my math is right, it equals to 29.6 KBps = 0.029 MBps
Looks like we get more from what we pay for.
