I played from 1pm till 5 something. My partner couldn't continue already, half dead. So... no choice, go home. Since later at night went out again somemore.
The office is only open on weekdays, but the chances of you even seeing anyone at the reception is slim to none. You will need to book on weekdays, or else the guard will halau you. Saturday and Sunday, usually don't need. It depends though, if got people book in advance on that day you cannot play then. Usually Saturday will have alot of people. |

Added on May 30, 2009, 2:37 pm QUOTE(murnizaradzi @ May 30 2009, 02:32 PM) can u tell me, how the booking process actually. i'm a registered member in their website. But to whom i need to make the payment to. At the pak guard or straight go to the office?if there is no one, then to who else can give the money to? You have to book one week in advance. Register through website, I can tell you 99% of the time it won't go through. Call them, and hope for the best for them to pick up the phone. Then tell them when you want to play and how long. On the day itself, go to the office there pay them and get the letter to give to the guard.Saturday and Sunday, usually don't need. It depends though, if got people book in advance on that day you cannot play then. Usually Saturday will have alot of people. what do u mean dont need? dont need to book for saturday and sunday ha?can play for free ke? If there is no one... well, what to do. Just screw it and play until kena halau. For me I already told the workers and the guard there I will come every Friday, so don't need to ask me I got letter or not. I will pay every Friday. Sat and Sun theres no one working, usually the guards also don't know go where. So you can just play till... perhaps they come back. Sometimes they wouldn't even bother to halau you, unless got people complain. This post has been edited by SSJBen: May 30 2009, 02:37 PM |

Night close already. The place open until 7pm only. They won't on the lights for night, don't know why. Even I say I pay for the electric, they say they won't on.
Yea their stupid payment thing is really confusing. You want to play, perhaps we can go on this Monday or Tuesday. Go to the courts after 5pm like that, won't be able to play a match of course since there won't be enough time but just doing some balls hitting is of course nice enough. But after 5pm after the workers balik, the guards usually won't halau. Unless as I said of course, someone complain. |

You stay nearby only right? I stay at Perkasa 2, just 5 mins drive from the courts. Today... hmm, I ain't sure if I'll be able to make it. Since may not be free later on, if can I'll go. Although I'm still sore all over from yesterday's match.
Maybe won't kena halau... I'm not sure either. Just hope for the best. Thing is, just play and don't care about anything else. |

QUOTE(SticH @ Jun 9 2009, 01:39 AM) Hi, there is a question in serving. Do you guys normally make a big circle to your back before racket drop and hit? I'm skipping the big circle and straight pull it up, racket drop and hit, like in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91IxRV4RDt8 . I'm wondering does that makes any difference in term of consistency and power? It does... alot. If it doesn't you won't see the world's best server in the vid doing it now would you? Thats a full motion serve. If you just start from your racquet from the L position, yes you can serve well. The thing is, you don't have a forward momentum, so you can't generate enough power as you would from a full motion serve. Consistency wise, at first you will feel that a full motion serve will throw your timing off. Thus compromising your consistency and accuracy ultimately. But you will get to a point where you are very comfortable with the full motion right up to your follow-through. |

QUOTE(SticH @ Jun 9 2009, 11:06 AM) Yeah, I'm doing exactly like andy roddick serve. But compare to Federer, Federer uses a perfect circle instead of an small arc, should I change to a big circle? No harm to try and see. What's best is which feels more comfortable to you. Then work towards that point and develop that motion into something that you can really rely on. People say Pete Sampras serve is weird and all that shit back then. But look where it got him and how he earned the nickname pistol. |

QUOTE(praetorian @ Jun 10 2009, 08:43 PM) I read in one of your post that you are resting your arms, I don't know if its a tennis injury, or from another sport, but if you are leaning towards Babolat, I wouldn't recommend Babolat at all, esp IF you have had a injury albeit a healed one, most of the people I personally know, who have used Babolat have either switched to another racket brand, 80 percent of the people have complained about some arm, wrist, elbow issue.I strongly suggest you DEMO a Babolat racket based on MULTIPLE hitting sessions and not a single 15-30 min hitting session. Babolat racquets are very stiff, perhaps they arguably produce some of the stiffest racquets on the market. They do however, produce alot of power on its own. But if you're a player who can already produce your own power, no worries here. I don't know how Roddick and Nadal can use Babolat racquets so easily... |

Why not drop the tension then?
Even Fed strung his racquet at 48lbs only, albeit he mixes strings but you get the drill. Babolat Pure Drive and Aerodrive both have a rating of 70/71. I think the K6.1 is only 67... iinm. Talking about the American versions here. |

Yea.
Very hard to find Prince racquets with actual weights in them now a days, atleast for the new models. I'm still using a Prince graphite from 1989, true weights, no bs! Maybe you could also try mixing stings to get different results, if you need poly that much that is. |

I did see 1 left at Topper Sports in Jalan Ampang a few months ago though. Maybe still worth a check, they selling it at pretty high price and pretty much hidden in the shop. |

Believe it or not, it's in KLCC. The top floor, sports shop beside Kino. This was couple of weeks ago, but they were selling 4D 300 at RM449. Okay not much difference, but still something.

Actually it wasn't pre-strung. However they were selling it as a combo pack. 4D 300 with Dunlop Max Comfort multi-fillament string. So you still have to pay for the stringing service, though isn't anything major since the Max Comfort is one of the best multi-fil string around IMO.
