QUOTE(alpha_company @ Mar 21 2009, 11:09 AM) hmm... personally i want my phone to have a good battery life and by having a led/dual led phone the battery would last longer... so i think i would prefer an n86 over n82... but if there are larger capacity battery for later phones from nokia with xenon... i would take the xenon..but maybe it would be at least 2 -3 years before that happens.. Same here.. Wow..that picture looked nice! So that is what the 3rd generation of dual LED..

Nope.. I have one myself and it works really well. keep in mind that N95 8gb, N82 and N95, N73 has Tessar 2.8/5.6 and better aperture/focal length than newer N85, N79 and N96 (which in a way means that new isnt always better) plus all there of these new phones doesnt have OMAP 3D GPU which is on n82 n95 and n95 8gb..which helps in the image processing.
N73 n95 n95 8gb and n82 has a much more mature firmware that has better algorithm and image compression thus making it better. reviews will tell the same.
a quote from other forums : "I would personally prefer Nokia improved sensor and aperture instead of boosting megapixels. Consumers make assumptions like "an 8 megapixel camera is better than a 5 megapixel camera", but that is just nonsence if the 8 megapixel has shitty optics and/or sensor and/or smaller aperture size."
Consider this.. a THREE year old phone like N95 and TWO year old phones like N95 8GB and N82 can generally take a picture as good as new phones like n85 and n96 and the differences are not major. It means in 2 years since n82 came out, nokia hasn't made any significant or no progress in making their cameras better.

QUOTE(Dlim88 @ Mar 23 2009, 11:41 PM) Of course in n86 lo...8mp ma again 8mp doesn't always mean the quality would be better. a small sensor with 8mp would lose to a larger sensor with 5mp.. fyi, larger megapixels benefit people who do large format printing because the image maintains it's size and lessens the pixelization as the MP goes higher.
