again 8mp doesn't always mean the quality would be better.

a small sensor with 8mp would lose to a larger sensor with 5mp..

fyi, larger megapixels benefit people who do large format printing because the image maintains it's size and lessens the pixelization as the MP goes higher.

but then again,this one have variable aperture.

3.2" still ok for non touch screen phone,manufacturer can make it even bigger like 3.5" by changing the form factor of the phone itself.

yeah.. correct by changing the form factor of the phone.. but that will make the screen longer right and not wide like in 5800?
*
that can be adjust,depend on how wide or how long u want the screen is.
3.2" is just the diagonal length.
the longer your screen the less wider it will but the diagonal length is still the same.

obviously..
from my assumption,
higher spec = more exp
going further up the N series the price will increase and in each respective series eg N9x the price go up with the number N95<N95 8GB<896
N7x = entry level N series
N8x = intermediate
N9x = high end

oh easy to answer.. should an older n95 8gb be more expensive than newer n85? go ask 3 year old..

if you're referring to the N9x series being more expensive than N8x series, you're wrong. n93i more expensive than n85? answer that

its a old model bro,even my old 7610 will cost over 2k when it was new in town.
