All SE phones got the stupid fastport problem. Don't send it for repair, save your money. The solution is simple, get a clean, dry toothbrush and brush the dirty fastport pins. Voila, problem gone. Certified SE service center repair guy taught me this trick, try it and you'll see

hi guys. i'm having a problem with this phone. when i'm saving a new contact, the previously saved contact will go missing, and there will be a duplicate of the new contact. anyone has this problem before? already tried master reset but it doesn't solve the problem.

Ap no different than ori except for warranty coverage, that's all so yes, you can flash it via SEUS.

thanks. already tried but SEUS says that the firmware is already the latest, but from the phone i can see that it's only R1GA026, which i think it's already quite old. any other way to update?

Try PM blacklizard. You have to manually do it yourself through a process I'm not pro enough to elaborate on.

i think the problem is not caused by the phone but the sim card. i tried it with another sim card and it's ok. will keep monitoring it.

I helped my friend bought this w995 pink colour around 2 months ago.
Until now, she could not connect to any wifi connection.
When she want to connect to wifi, the phone said there are too many connection, please delete it or something, then the phone shows the favorite network which is only 1 entry which is hkgovwifi.
The problem is, she could not delete it as there is no delete option.
Anyone can help?

I just brought W995 Pink AP set, i must say that now this set are really cheap compare to last six months. Camera good, sound system really great. I just updated through SEUS, new firmware R1HA035. After updated, i can see the UI are quite responsive. Well, i will keep this set quite some time, i guess.

im planning to buy 1..but i can see that some SE phones dont have this cute animation which i use alot with my current SE W660..

Sometimes my w995 will cant read the memory card. The wallpaper auto changed back to default and all the pics / songs in memory gone. Needa restart the phone or reinsert the memory card.

Any1 facing the same problem ?

Try doing an update via seus and if that doesn't help, it's mc prob. May be corrupted

Oh yes I wanna ask you guys, you see my themes right, when I view it over the net before I download them, the menu icons are different from the ones when I install the theme on the phone. As in the icons reverts back to the original menu icons. Anyone has this problem?

Thats not a problem bro. Basically the themes are using "flash menus" which you have to put them in yourself into the phones system using a2uploader.
If you notice some of your default themes provided when you bought the phone have special menus. Those are the "flash menus" I'm talking about.

just bought this phone today...so why I don't have conversation type messaging? owh and one more thing, If I use the facebook app in the phone(in the messaging menu) will I be charged of anything?
